The first three are Google’s own figures for Cormack Builders, read on 24 September 2026; the share is of every rating Google has counted, not of the review texts on this page. The median is ours — the middle figure among the Nova Scotia roofers we list with enough ratings to compare.

Too few ratings to compare against other roofers — at 10 ratings a single unhappy customer moves this figure by several points.
The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.

I talked with Dave at Cormack Builders about getting my windows replaced. It would have been grant work. He said that they did grant work but they were very busy, couldn't be sure when the work could be done, but he could definitely give me a quote. I said that was fine. I wasn't worried about WHEN it could be done, just IF it could be done. He came out, took a quick glance at the windows, did no measurements, and said he'd have his guys come out to do the measurements over the next week. They didn't. I called him, and he ghosted me. I emailed him, and he ghosted me. Oh, and BTW, on the first contact, he showed up with a dog in his truck, which was fine, but WASN'T fine was when he insisted that I keep my dog (who was no threat whatsoever) inside, and also keep her away from his guys when they came to do the measurements. Which never happened. I'd give Cormack Builders zero stars if I could.

As a female building a home, Cormack was one of many contractors called, that actually called back. The guidance, the professionalism, knowledge, help & kindness Dave and his team of Men & women made this journey something I will never regret, and forever be grateful

I phoned to see if they could replace shingles on my roof that were blown off from last week's storm but they were booked up until end summer. Can't really rate them for that very reason but at least they answered and were honest.

What Cormack Builders says about itself
Taken from the business’s own website. We have not checked any of it. These are quotes, not credentials — a roofer writing “licensed and insured” on their homepage is not evidence that they are.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 10 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 10, of which 6 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Cormack Builders. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
