  We hired Clean Comfort for a metal roof installation on our attached house on a main street, which comes with its own set of challenges. We chose the company because the sales representative (Derek) was knowledgeable and the online reviews were overwhelmingly positive. Throughout the project, however, issues kept resurfacing. Parking instructions weren’t followed, blocking our driveway and our neighbour’s spots multiple times. Debris ended up in a neighbouring apartment building’s lot, and a metal shingle landed in our neighbour’s yard. I eventually had to email the operations manager to ensure the crew was cleaning up after themselves. A beer can was left in the disposal bin on top of the new shingles. A plastic chair was broken and later replaced, which we appreciated. We were told the job would finish the next day, but no one arrived, and we had to call at 1 p.m. to learn the schedule had changed. Once the roof was “complete,” we noticed a missing shingle, shingle debris left in the eaves, and an unfinished edge where our roof meets the neighbour’s. These issues were only corrected after we reported them, and quality control happened afterward rather than before the final invoice. I emailed the owner with a clear list of concerns to ensure the job would be completed properly. He arrived at the property within 15 minutes, which seemed like amazing customer service, but instead of addressing the issues or offering an apology, he focused on questioning my use of AI to write the email and shifted the discussion to the company’s community involvement. He also committed to correcting the parking issue, yet the entire driveway was blocked again on the very next visit. No one apologized at any stage for the disruptions or the extra coordination required. A credit was later applied to the invoice without us ever requesting it, but this yet again wasn’t communicated internally; we received a curt payment-request email within three business days before the adjustment ap

  Great experience with Clean Comforts so far. I was very impressed with Matt. He came out the same day I called for an estimate and took all the time I needed to thoroughly explain everything to me. I had the estimate in hand that day as well. Since that time his communication in follow up has been excellent. The work the crew did on the roof was great too!

  Matthew was great to work with!! I messaged him for a quote and he responded almost immediately, coming out the same day to give me an estimate. He explained everything throughly and the job was completed within 2 weeks of that first meeting. My new eavestroughs look and work well! I would highly recommend him to any of my friends or family.

  I hardly ever leave reviews and if I do a five star would be incredibly hard to achieve. But I firmly believe that Clean Comfort Home Improvements deserves the recognition. I will attempt to describe how everything played out: a. Discovered roof damage / rotting on exterior roof caused from poor sloppy construction when the house was built that went unnoticed until the eavestrough started falling off; b. I immediately researched and reached out via phone/email to approximately 7 other roofing business; c. Clean Comfort reached out the very next day and had a scheduled inspection with Brooks that was scheduled a few days out; d. Two other business took approximately a week to get back to me and both scheduled a follow up inspection, the other four I never heard from after follow up calls; e. Brooks came, inspected the roof gave me a rundown of what the issue was and provided me with his ideas of how he would fix the problem with a follow up itemized quote for comparison; f. One of the two other roofers came out and also inspected the roof and provided his ideas on how he would fix the damage which was suggested as just covering up and hiding the problem and did not provide a detailed quote and a estimate higher then what, Brooks and Clean Comfort provided. The other roofer no showed; g. We hired Brooks and the job was put on the schedule; and h. Brooks came and did an efficient and excellent job on restoring the damage done to the roof. I will be going back to Clean Comfort Home Improvements no questions asked. You do not have to waste your time with other companies getting the run around, just contact Clean Comfort. Bravo to the team and i hope they keep up the attitude of ensuring the priority of communication to customers!

  We had our roof re-shingled in a fast and efficient manner. The team cleaned up after themselves each day and left the site in an excellent condition. The price did not change from the original quote Matt and Shawn were very professional, polite, and easy to get a hold of for questions.
