  We had missing tiles on the roof, and possibly some areas of wood rot Clark came by, evaluated the roof and gave us a quote. When they were all done with the work, there were still missing tiles on the roof, and not inspected for completeness of problems on the roof, PER CLARK, "Jon done" Their response, the contract was only for one part of the roof Overall a very incomplete job and I need to get another roofer My perspective was for Clark to do a complete job and in no way did they communicate that they were going to do an incomplete job, and vice versa The end response by Clark, if you don't like the job, I did 
“I'll see you in small claims court” Plus, when they were all done, they left a pile of shingles together on top of the roof, hard to imagine, but that is how sloppy they were Conclusion, 1) Cannot be trusted to tell you what is wrong prior, and what needs to be done 2) cannot be trusted to do appropriate work. 3) CAN be trusted to be unprofessional. When I suggested that the work was incomplete, THE OWNER QUICKLY, said, “I WILL TAKE YOU TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT” 4) After minimal time at my home, they said JOB complete, all dome; HOWEVEE, Can be trusted to do sloppy work, leave holes in roof, missing shingles, and leave a stack of a shingles on the roof; 5) Yes.  left stack of shingles on roof (the roofers originally that day, got them form my basement) Conclusion, cannot be trusted AT ALL ***** PICTURES attached on HOW they LEFT the roof and said they were done ***** Pictures show what they think is a complete job; EVEN THOUGH IN CONTRACT it STATES, "Replace broken tiles" JUST LOOK AT PICTURES, ONE CAN SEE THAT the Contracted WORK WAS INCOMPLETE!!!!!! Thus the JOB WAS POOR and SLOPPY (contract: fix broken tiles > 2.5 inches, remove trash debris)

  Stephen, We contracted with you to repair an area of dry rot and broken tiles. Our contract was very specific as to what repairs we were making. We completed the work exactly as our contract stated. You asked us to complete additional work. We advised you that you would need to get a termite inspection to identify all areas of dry rot. Once you had the inspection, we could provide an estimate on the additional work but this was not part of our contracted work. You wanted us to do the additional work for free. To be able to stay in business, we cannot do work for free. -Clark

  I recently contacted this company to obtain a definitive bid to repair my 25-year old tile roof. The roof has numerous conditions that include broken tiles, dry rot in need of gutter replacements. Without question the job will be extensive. My request upfront was to provide a layout of the roof and identify the specific locations and extent of the repairs to be performed. After their inspection they refused to provide a comprehensive bid as requested and further stated that if they were to certify the roof they wanted $10,500 just to open up the valleys to inspect for damage that may be needed. Of course this price didn't include the repairs that may be present.I'm guessing that amount of money could afford them to be wrong with just about anything for just inspecting the valleys.

  We had a great experience with Clark’s. This is the second time we used them and they did a wonderful job on both roofs. The crew was quick and careful of our property. The roof is super nice. It looks like a new house!

  This was my third roof with Clark's Gable Roofing. They were very flexible and accommodating. They efficient and on time. Their communications were accurate and timely and I believe the price was competitive. I would definitely use them again

  Background: several years ago we were told by a repair company (pre solar installation) that we needed a new roof. I recently called the solar company asking for a roofer that they would recommend and that was knowledgeable about their panels. Jackpot! Clark’s Gable Roofing came to the house and said we didn’t need a new roof. (He could have just sold us a new roof!) He gave us 2 bid options (still allowing us to opt for a new roof as one option) and we hired his company. Bonus - he was able to manage any movement or disconnect/reconnect of the solar panels. The crew was on time, finished as scheduled (including additional work that was uncovered), and completely cleaned up the work site. I highly recommend this company after witnessing the integrity and work ethics of the owner and team.

  Clark’s Gables Roofing did a great job replacing my leaky tile roof with Certain Teed Presidential shingles. The old roof was a ventilated system with no supportive plywood, so it had to be stripped down to the rafters and started from scratch. It is a large roof with numerous valleys, adding to the scope of the project. His crew was on the job on time each day, got right to work, and were respectful of my property. Clark’s bid was extremely fair and there were no surprise “extras” added. Clark is personable, honest, and treats his crew very well. Thank you Clark for an outstanding job!
