  CHR shingled our roof in the spring of 2018. Prior to their work we never had any roof issues. Last winter our roof leaked and this winter we have ice build up where they improperly removed the chimney. They shingled over our vents and we had to have them come back to get the vents installed. I would never recommend this company. *******************UPDATED SEPT 2024************************ Jamie refused to come and repair our roof despite promising to, until I removed my original Google review (see above), which I would not do. So, as promised, I am updating this now that the situation has come to an impasse and Jamie has defied the agreed upon Small Claims Court restitution to us. Four years ago we were left with no choice but to hire a reputable company to come and reshingle one entire side of our roof at a cost of over $2,300.00. We have attempted to recoup this money from CHR Roofing/Jamie Huard with no success, as they refused to honour their 10 year roof warranty, so we went through Small Claims Court. A court settlement was reached but has not been paid to us. Very much regret the day we hired CHR Roofing, and hope our experience forewarns others.

  Super abusive to tenants - illegal behaviour. Cops had to be involved. Stay away!!!!!! I wrote this 3 years ago... I do not remember nor do I live here.

  Friend of mine had some ups and downs with them but good job on the roof. Just needs to work on communication skills when things go wrong.

  I wanted to write a review as this company did some roofwork for me back in 2018. This past summer, my roof leaked. They tried to blame it on chimney and would noy come to take a look. Had a roofer friend go up to see what problem was. When i called back, they tried to argue until i had my friend talk to Jamie. He got someone to come and fix it, and for that i was grateful. But when i called back about the damages, he argued and said "lady, we fixed your roof, what more do you want". He waived me off and told me he was too busy and i should go through insurance. Jen and Tim are also friends of mine, and posted as such. So it would be appreciated not being called out on a public commentary page.

  Terrible experience. Tried to schedule a quote, rescheduled due to rain and never showed up, never called. Sounded very uninterested on the phone when I called. Disappointed.

  Hello Trista , Sorry to hear about your experience , we where short staffed on the estimating side for a short time this summer.Just could not keep up to the tremendous amount of calls due to that horrible winter . We try our best to get to everyone . This was the busiest we've seen in 14 years with as many as 20 calls a day for weeks straight . Again really sorry we weren't able to help Jamie CHR Roofing

  Terrible experience dealing with this unorganized company! They are quick to come out and give you a quote and take your money but will never come out and do the actual work every day they were giving me a different excuse why they dint come I strongly advise to STAY AWAY!

  Big thank you to Jamie, Evan and the crew at CHR Roofing & Eavestrough for the great work on our garage roof. They do quality installs at reasonable rates. Very professional and skilled outfit, they make it look so easy. I really appreciated their advice, the extra effort on the clean up (place is cleaner then when they got here) and the crew even fixed the sagging eavestroughs on my house. If you need a roof done, call these folks and tell them I sent you. I wish every contractor was this helpful.

  Every night, the property was cleaned up. The workers were polite, friendly and answered any questions I had. Had to have my roof re-sheeted which added a complexity to the job, but it was handled professionally and quickly. Very impressed!

  CHR has a very friendly owner and staff! I would recommend them to any homeowner. They used tarps to protect gazebo, patio and other areas. Made sure to clean the premises of debris and nails. They bill the quoted price and work is done as promised. Thank you CHR Roofing

  Employed CHR Roofing for a small job to be completed on a tight schedule with high quality expectations. Communicating with the work crew was clear and concise and professional. I was able to leave the job in their very capable hands. Will use CHR again.
