We called Chavez & Sons Roofing & Construction after hail damage hit our single-story home, and the response was fast, helpful, and easy to understand. Blake worked directly with our insurance company and explained that the deductible would be enough to get the roofing project moving. Along with the main roof work, we also needed new gutters on our detached garage and wanted insulated windows added on one side of the house to improve comfort and energy efficiency. As the project moved forward, we decided to add new siding to finish the exterior upgrade. A designer came out and helped us choose a siding color that fit the style of the neighborhood and matched the look we wanted for our home. This turned into a large exterior renovation, but every day we could clearly see steady progress, and the crew kept the job organized and on schedule. We were very pleased with the workmanship, the quality of the roofing and siding materials, and how well the cleanup was handled throughout the project. After seeing how smoothly everything went, I also asked about replacing our patio corrugated roof with white plastic roofing. Walter came out, gave us a fair quote, and we moved ahead with that work too. My wife and I are extremely happy with how our home looks now. The new roof, gutters, siding, windows, and patio covering made a huge difference, and the whole experience was professional from start to finish.

We had new gutters installed on our home in Elizabeth, and they have made a big difference. Before the work, rainwater would collect around parts of the yard, but the new gutter system now channels water away much better and has really …

My wife and I called Chavez & Sons Roofing & Construction about a roof leak not long after buying our home in Elizabeth, and we were worried it would turn into a big problem. Curtis was great to work with from the start. He came out the same day, inspected the roofing area carefully, found the source of the leak, and gave us a fair price for the repair. He explained the repair options in simple terms, went over the condition of the shingles and flashing, and never tried to push extra work we did not need. The roof repair was completed that same week, the finished work looks excellent, and everything was done at the quoted price. The crew went above and beyond our expectations, kept the area clean, and made the whole process easy and stress free. We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing roofing repairs or other exterior work, and we will be calling again for any future roofing needs.

I searched for Chavez & Sons Roofing & Construction after they finished work for me because I wanted to recommend them to a friend, and I was surprised to see so many bad reviews, so I wanted to share my experience. They were my first choice during a home remodel, and while I handled some of the project myself, I hired them to stop a few leaks, seal problem areas, and install new glass block windows. Years later, the repairs are still solid, everything is holding up very well, and the windows still look great. There was one small issue during the window installation, but Frank fixed it quickly and made the whole process easy. They were professional, responsive, and clearly knew how to handle leak repair and exterior problem areas. People often post when they are upset, but not everyone takes the time to mention when a contractor does really good work, and in my case the results have lasted and I would gladly recommend them.

I worked with Curtis at Chavez & Sons Roofing & Construction. He was very attentive, explained the roofing process clearly, and answered all of my questions in simple terms. The roof job was scheduled quickly, and the crew finished the shingle work and cleanup faster than I expected. The new roof looks great, and the overall workmanship really improved the look of my home. After the first rain, I noticed a small leak near the kitchen vent, and the roofing team came back the very next day to repair the flashing issue. I appreciated how fast they responded and made sure everything was sealed properly. They also stayed in touch about the final cost and payment details, and I was able to get the paperwork I needed. Overall, I am happy with the finished roof and the way the issue was handled.

I helped arrange a roof and skylight replacement for my father-in-law’s home in Elizabeth and got several estimates from roofing contractors before choosing Chavez & Sons Roofing & Construction. After comparing pricing, scope of work, and how detailed each inspection was, this one stood out the most. Blake handled the estimate and did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable, straightforward, and very thorough from start to finish. He checked the attic crawlspace, closely inspected the roofing system, and explained the condition of the shingles, skylight area, and ventilation in simple terms. That gave me real confidence that the roof replacement would be completed the right way and without surprise costs later. What I appreciated most was the honest approach. There was no pressure, no upselling, and no attempt to add roofing services we did not need. The estimate was clear, competitive, and easy to understand. Compared with the other roofers I spoke with, this team gave me the most confidence because of their careful inspection and professional communication. The office staff was also friendly and easy to work with. The deposit and billing process went smoothly, and I was kept updated throughout the scheduling process. They shared the information I needed, answered questions quickly, and made the whole project feel organized and stress free. The roof and skylight replacement was completed on schedule, and the crew worked efficiently. Everything went as planned, the workmanship looked solid, and the cleanup was handled very well when the job was done. It was clear the crew respected the property and took pride in their roofing work. Overall, this was a very positive experience. I would strongly recommend them to anyone in Elizabeth looking for a reliable roofer for a roof replacement, skylight work, or related exterior repairs.

We are so happy with our new roof. walter and his whole crew made the entire roofing project feel easy from start to finish. Whether it was roof system details, insurance paperwork, budget questions, or scheduling, everything was handled in a pleasant and stress free way. This team deserves more than 5 stars. Very professional, honest, dependable, and clear with communication. walter went above and beyond to meet with the insurance inspector several times and helped explain what was needed for the roof claim. He stayed flexible, planned ahead, and understood our needs before we even had to ask. He gave simple and clear roofing recommendations, explained the technical parts well, and helped us feel confident about the work being done on our home in Elizabeth. blake and the production crew were excellent. The workmanship was top quality, and they paid close attention to every detail during the roof installation. blake even added extra protection around a problem water flashing area using a smart roofing design that gave us more peace of mind. The crew kept the job organized, worked efficiently, and made the whole experience very customer friendly. Great team, great service, and a high quality roofing company. i highly recommend them.

They did an excellent job on our roof replacement. The crew stayed on budget and finished the work on schedule. They were a little short on shingles near the end, so one small section had to be wrapped up the next morning, but they showed up right at 8am and completed it without delay. That really stood out to me, because a lot of roofing companies might have pushed it off. During the roof tear-off, a little debris came down and accidentally damaged our old flag holder near the front of the house. It was already worn out and needed to be replaced, so it was not a big issue to us. When Santiago stopped by to check the progress of the roofing job, we mentioned what happened. He immediately said he would take care of it. Even though we told him not to worry about it, the crew leader came back with a new flag and flagpole kit and installed it for us. That kind of care and follow-through says a lot about their roofing service and customer support. They handled the re-roof professionally, kept communication clear, and went the extra mile to make things right. We were very impressed and would gladly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work.
