  Derek, the owner, came out for the roof estimate and was very thorough and detailed. He took several photos of the roof damage so we could clearly see the problem areas. He explained the roofing work in simple terms, answered every question, and also showed sample pictures of different shingle colors. He even pointed out nearby roofs in Elizabeth with those color options so we could get a better idea of how they would look in person. The roofing crew was careful, skilled, and worked hard from start to finish. They did a great job with the roof and gutter replacement, stayed organized, and made sure all nails and roofing debris were cleaned up well at the end. The whole process was smooth, professional, and easy to manage. They helped us feel confident about the materials, the workmanship, and the final result. I would gladly recommend them to anyone in Elizabeth who needs roofing or gutters replaced.

  Marvin and his crew did an excellent job replacing our old roof power vent. A few issues came up during the roofing work, including a defective vent, but they handled it right away and kept the project moving without any extra charge. Marvin also made several trips to find the exact matching spray paint so the new vent would blend in with our shingles and the roof would look clean and finished. They took their time, paid attention to the details, and made sure everything was installed properly. The workmanship was solid, the price was fair, and the whole team had a great attitude from start to finish. It is not always easy to find a roofing crew that is this dependable, careful, and honest.   After a recent storm damaged the roof on our home, we hired Cabrera & Sons Roofing for a full roof replacement. Once the project got underway, Roger did an excellent job coordinating everything and keeping the process on track. Derek, the planning manager, stayed in close contact with us and worked hard to oversee the job from start to finish. Marvin and the roofing crew were very impressive. They worked hard, moved quickly, and handled the installation with real care and professionalism. They paid close attention to protecting our property and did a thorough cleanup each day, including picking up tools, debris, nails, and sweeping the patio area. The new roof looks great, and the only remaining step is getting the gutters reinstalled. Overall, it was a smooth and well-managed roofing experience for our home in Elizabeth.

He took time to measure everything carefully, listen to what we needed, and put together the right estimate without any pressure. He also explained the differences between several gutter protection options, how they work with the roofline, and what made this system a better fit for our home. After that, Marvin called to schedule the installation and made the whole process simple and smooth. He was friendly, helpful, and got our install set up quickly. He also followed up to confirm the appointment and let us know what to expect on installation day, which made everything feel organized and professional. On the day of the job, Derek and Roger arrived on time and were excellent to work with.   i had a great experience with cabrera & sons roofing compared to other roofing companies i've used before. my first call was with derek, who really knew his stuff and offered clear, practical solutions for my leaky roof. even though you usually expect someone older to have all the answers for roof leaks, derek’s energy and enthusiasm for problem solving really stood out. his crew, led by marvin, worked hard, paid attention to every detail, and clearly knew what they were doing, which gave me a lot of confidence. they truly back up their work, which is rare these days. after a heavy rain, i noticed a small leak under my solar panels and called derek. he showed up the next morning with marvin and quickly took care of it. it's tough to find reliable roofers in elizabeth, but these folks are dependable and trustworthy.
