Awful experience with this company. A rep came out out and I was skeptical at first at it seemed like a typical "storm chaser" type of company, stating they would be able to get a new roof covered by insurance. I should have listened to my gut. Every time I spoke with the rep, it was "just a few more weeks for an answer etc." After over a year of back and forth, I was eventually ghosted by the rep. I would NOT recommend this company if you value communication, honestly or transparency.

Hi Linda. Sorry the guys tried so hard to help. I'll tell them to drop off some desserts for you since they interrupted dinner. Maybe some ice cream or something. Wish you all the best!

The roof and skylights look great and after a month, no leaks. I will update my review if that changes. I understand that after having a job like this done to your house, you may come across a nail or two. I found 14 nails in my driveway near where the dumpster was. Surprisingly, our vehicle tires didn't pick any up. I would have expected the crew to do a quick sweep at least. Update: it's been 4 months since my initial review. I'm taking away two stars on the rating because we just discovered water damage coming through our ceiling around both of the skylights. The insurance company will be receiving a phone call tomorrow morning.

Our property was hit by the tornado that passed through RI in August 2023. We reached out to Cedar Valley in October after being blown off or ignored by other companies. At first they were somewhat responsive; they sent a crew to check out the damage within a couple weeks of my call. But when it came to getting quotes and getting the job started they were really bad about communicating and scheduling. I get the sense that they're a big company so I understand that they may have a lot going on but when your house is damaged , the longer it sits the worse it gets. We needed a new roof, gutters and vinyl repair. From the initial inspection It took them 10 months for a crew to actually set foot on our property. The crew they sent was a 2 person outfit they in all likelyhood found in a Home Depot parking lot that morning. The roof was replaced but they've ignored my requests and questions about our gutters and vinyl. If you're considering hiring Cedar Valley, save yourself the trouble and go find a Home Depot parking lot crew yourself first thing tomorrow. No one I dealt with face to face was over the age of 25, It seems like they're constantly burning through cheap labor in the form of kids just out of school or day laborers who they can pay nothing. Avoid. I'd rate 1 star but that would reflect poorly on the freelance day laborers who actually did the work.

I live a few blocks from Linda, and she is not exaggerating at all!!! My wife and I have been endlessly harassed by a bunch of young kids who work for Cedar Valley Exteriors They are obnoxious, high pressure salespeople who trespass onto private property and solicit me and my neighbors endlessly but when we talk with them, it becomes obvious that they know very little if anything about construction and contracting…. Please go away,…and learn to take NO for an answer !!!! Mr “company owner”,… maybe you want to quit “making light” of the situation with your ice cream jokes… and perhaps channel your comedic energy into training your employees to be more professional!!!! 1. If you actually do live by Linda you would know we hadn't offered inspections in that neighborhood for several weeks before your review. 2. One of your connections is to a manager who worked here for over 10 years but now works as a competitor so it seems a bit biased. 3. These young men and women working are out there trying hard to succeed and they are learning. Why would you criticize them for "knowing very little"? They are great, ambitious, hard working employees. They are inspecting properties for FREE as a service after the hail/wind storm. Many of Linda's neighbors have gotten roofing, gutters, siding all for almost ZERO out of pocket expense (only paid deductible). They are very happy we stopped by and helped them as they would not have known they qualified for it. Their insurance company came out to personally verify what these "high pressure salespeople" inspected and the insurance companies agreed and approved it all! 4. We are an award winning contractor that has been doing insurance restoration for over 25 years and have helped 10's of thousands of customers get their properties restored for only their deductible out of pocket. 5.As Mr. "Company Owner" I do TikToks and Reels for fun and entertain many with my "comedic energy". Sorry if you don't like this carried over to my job but it's just who I am. And we are happy to bring you some ice cream as well if you'd like. 6. If you do not want ice cream and provide your address to us, I'll tell everyone to stay away from you house and not offer you a free inspection. 7. We wish you all the best and hope you have an amazing year.

It should not be allowed anymore for people like Brenda to use a legitimate review source to try and discredit an award winning family business that has been in business for over 25 years for something she has done that is not ethical. We did a free inspection on her home and she was very excited and very appreciative when we showed her the wind damage that we found on her roof. The agreement she signed is one we have used on thousands of projects, with very happy customers. It CLEARLY states there is no obligation UNLESS the project is approved by insurance. It states that if it is approved, we are the contractor doing the work and you pay nothing more than your insurance deductible. Just like getting your car fixed or going to the doctor’s office. Our manager Ethan sat with Brenda to go over every detail of the contingent agreement. She even went to get her glasses and joked about how she needs them to read it all. They went through everything on the agreement including products and how we would be doing the work if/when it approved. The agreement is very thorough and requires a signature to be valid. It has info on the work being done, colors etc. In no way does it appear to be a document to simply speak with an insurance company. It clearly states you are choosing Cedar Valley Exteriors as your contractor and that you only pay your deductible. It also clearly states you could cancel this agreement within three days for any reason. She did not cancel and had us do a lot of work to get it approved over several weeks. We went to her property several times to get all the information for the insurance adjuster meeting as well as for the project itself. We met her insurance adjuster, showed the damage, wrote an estimate for all the repairs and it was all approved. Everything was going fine until she received the check from the insurance company. It was then that all of a sudden she decided to stop answering calls and tried to cancel. She used a

I would just like to comment on a sales representative and roofing installation project that Cedar Valley Exteriors completed on our home. Representative Dugan Marsh was great. The crew was there bright and early on May 13th the.crew of 7 people arrived to install the new roof. This crew was highly professional and began immediately to remove the old roof shingles. But before they started they covered all of our bushes with tarps to protect them and make sure that they were not damaged. They then installed a new plywood substructure. After the plywood was installed the crew proceeded to install the new shingles. Upon completion, they cleaned up the property to such an extent that no one would ever know they had been there. We have worked with a number of different contractors over the years and I can only say that I wish that they had all been as professional and caring pas Cedar Valley Exteriors and the representative Dugan. I highly recommend Cedar Valley Exteriors for any roofing job.

We recently had our roof replaced, and Cedar Valley Exteriors nailed it—literally and figuratively! From the very beginning, the sales and support team were fantastic. Seth Mastin, our sales rep was responsive, patient with our questions, and explained the process from start to finish. He explained the process, provided helpful recommendations, and made what could have been a stressful project surprisingly easy. When the crew arrived, the real craftsmanship became apparent. For two days and more than 20 hours Victor and the other six on his team worked tirelessly to ensure the job was done right. They were professional, efficient, meticulous, and clearly took pride in their work. The finished roof looks fantastic, and the quality of the workmanship is evident in every detail. The entire experience—from the initial consultation to the final cleanup—was excellent. Good communication, quality materials, skilled workmanship, and a team that genuinely cares about doing the job right. I rarely post reviews but their work deserved a heartfelt and honest thumbs up. We all need a roof over our heads, so if you’re in need of a new roof, repairs, or simply want the peace of mind that comes from hiring people who know what they're doing, give Seth at Cedar Valley a call. Five stars—and thankfully, zero stars visible through the new roof!

I was having issues with the insurance company for storm damage on my roof. I spoke with Edgar and AJ from Cedar Valley Exteriors and they walked me through the entire process, took over for me and got the insurance company to comply, replace the roof and all for the price of my deductible. Do not hesitate to call them if you have damage to your roof and the insurance company is fighting you. It is not a scam, just good honest business.

Cedar Valley Exteriors Did an excellent job. The crew left the grounds as if they were never there. They only took 1 day! Dugan Marsh was a great help through the whole process from starting with the insurance to the construction of the roof and was very responsive. I would 100% recommend Cedar Valley.

#CedarValleyExteriorshasyoucovered. We had our 30 year old roof replaced due to storm damage by Cedar Valley Exteriors and couldn’t be happier. This was the easiest process we have ever had with a contractor. A CVE team member inspected the roof and we contacted the insurance company. Our claim was approved almost instantly. We used the Owens Corning web site which had a simulator that allowed you to take a picture of your house, upload it and then see the shingle type on your house. This really helped us pick the perfect color. The installation crew was friendly and cleaned up the yard and deck perfectly. All the communication from all the team members at CVE was clear, timely and easy. There were no problems at all. We love our new roof and would recommend CVE to anyone. Thank you CVE!

Ernesto was great to work with. After a hail storm hit our neighborhood, I wasn't sure if my insurance company was going to cover my roof. He made the whole process a lot easier than I expected and was always available when I had questions. The new roof came out great. The crew was professional, cleaned up well, and the quality of the work shows. If you need a roof or are dealing with storm damage, I highly recommend Ernesto and Cedar Valley!
