Called to get a quote on replacing some slate tiles on our roof. They only offer paid service calls which does not involve them even getting on the roof to look at the repair. They do not do actual repairs only replacements. Best to avoid unless you just want a new roof.

  Reply from the business

Brian, we apologize for any miscommunication! For leak issues, we typically set up a service call to start as our estimators cannot go on the roof/ inspect these issues for both safety and insurance reasons. Our service call does involve a crew getting on the roof, inspecting the issue(s) and trying to do minor repairs on the spot if possible. We would then follow up with a more formal quote for any work suggested beyond this. We are happy to have an estimator come out at no charge initially, but they are limited in what they can assess for leak issues, which is why we typically suggest a service call for situations like this. We hope to earn the opportunity to assist you and ensure your roof is taken care of properly.

Company does work in prominent neighborhoods just to dump the same old roofing nearby. There is a xl black garbage bag full of old roofing dumped on Milwaukee ave structured median on 10/29/24. You should be fined, next time I need to dump something I know where to go.

  Reply from the business

Hi good morning! We completely agree this is unacceptable. At 7:30am, we received a call stating that a driver on our team threw trash out on the passenger side of the vehicle onto the left median. We of course immediately contacted our employee, to which we learned the garbage was already existing from someone else, that was causing traffic to back up, hence why our employee moved it. The garbage was not roofing material; it was pool anti-freeze. If you'd like proof we'd be happy to provide photos as we are unable to post them in a Google Review response. We do appreciate your diligence of keeping our neighborhoods clean + always make sure it's a part of our practice! Thank you.

Cedar Roofing came out to look at my roof; took months of various proposals as to doing a flat roof and came up with an astronomical price to tear off a flat roof and when we said no, they said that they would try to find a commercial …

I had a warranty on the roof installed by cedar not even a year old which began to leak at every rainfall. Cedar roofing refused to fix the leak said it was not their fault.? I had two other roofing companies tell me that the shingles were improperly stalled. Very dishonest.

The work was completed without any interruptions, except for weather. The workers were polite, diligent and worked all day. When they wrapped up the job, there were not open items to attend to. I have a well-done, completed job and am a satisfied customer.

They replaced our aging and damaged cedar roof with a new Brava composite roof and new gutters/downspouts. It looks amazing and will last us a lifetime. CRC is an established and reputable company for a very good reason - they provide quality workmanship, great service, and premium materials at an extremely fair price. Dan K., Stan, Keith, and Juan O. were so easy to work with and took great care of us. Thank you CRC!

We recently had our cedar roof replaced with Brava in slate. It looks like real slate and will reduce our insurance premium. Keith McNaught was our prime contact. He was able to slot us in to accomodate our house rehabilitation schedule after a fire. The crew was on time, early each morning, they cleaned up as they went, were professional in every way and left our property clean. We did have a damaged light and some landscape stones were displaced. CRC had previously photographed the property and quickly agreed and repaired and replaced our light. I would recommend them for your roof replacement. Their cost was competitive.

Fast and efficient replacement of our cedar roof with composite cedar roofing. Kieth M was very informative about our options for roof replacement and very responsive to our questions and requests throughout the process. The crew worked long days to complete our project of roof, skylight, and gutter replacement in a timely manner and cleaned up nicely when they were finished. We really trust CRC experience and knowledge about roofing systems.
