  Edit in response to the owner: The owner of the company recommended that I use his brother, Ivan, as he often does smaller jobs for them. Ivan told me that he does, in fact, work frequently with and for his brother. In addition to this, they do not address the fact that they stopped responding to my requests for a larger project at the time that this issue was beginning with Ivan. I reached out to Cassas Bros three months ago (May 19) to schedule a roof repair in West Park. Anthony Cassas was quick to respond in telling me that they would not do a repair (full replacement only) but he could send his brother, Ivan Cassas to do the work. Ivan told me that, although it is a smaller project, he would be able fit it in between jobs working with his brother, so he eventually did after 6 weeks of delay (Jun 27). I paid him the following day. A month later (Aug 1), I contacted him that the roof was continuing to leak. He responded that he’d need to look at it from the inside. Three days (Aug 4) go by and he began brushing off the issue saying that he works full-time and would need to find time. He continued delaying responses and saying he won’t be able to make it, to then block my number after two weeks of these delays (Aug 16). Additionally, I’d been in conversation with Cassas Bros about another project, residing and roofing a full house in Walden. The conversation for this began after my work was completed with Ivan. Anthony was originally responsive, then stopped replying to messages directly or through the office after realizing the issue with his brother, Ivan.

  We have never worked for you sir. You were giving a number to call if you liked for someone who could be of assistance. The person you hired is not affiliated or has ever worked for us. You have falsely conveyed that we were involved in your project which is not true in any manner. We never and will never get involved with repairs and ask that you remove this totally false review.

  I would avoid this company. They are very unprofessional. I called a few times for a quote and they were very rude to me. At first I thought I caught them at a busy time but then I called again and they hung up on me!

  Yesterday my wife made an appointment for an estimate which was scheduled for this day at 9am. Since someone had to be there just to talk about the estimate I asked my job for permission to go in a little late. The company was punctual. When I noticed the truck I went out to see them and they had already left. I didn't take more than 2 minutes. They basically drove by and left. I called them about 5 times and they didn't answer. A text was sent asking if they would return because I couldn't keep waiting and they responded "No we can't help you as you already bought your shingle. Best of luck." Again tried to call and no answer! They are really unprofessional!! Another text was sent stating that material was for another project (as I did a coop, port, and well that needed new shingles but wanted a "professional" to do my home). I didn't receive any call or message from them. They made me lose hours of work, and they didn't bother to get out the car, or at least call and ask about that materials they saw.

  We felt that this project was in the process and didn’t want to get involved and thought there was a problem with the previous contractor. As you stated we informed you after driving to your home and in the rain that we were not interested in the project and there was no need to further discuss. sorry for any inconvenience but to say we’re unprofessional couldn’t be further from the truth.

  Do not use. Shingles on new roof that was replaced started coming off a month after. They didn't want anything to do with it after numerous phone calls and messages weren't returned to me. Turned out wrong materials and poor workmanship were the cause. Had to replace roof again.

  Mr tauntan, your review gives the impression that we installed a new roofing system on your house when in fact all we did was replace a few shingles for you that were blown off do to many failed builders in your development using the lowest quality of materials and in facy so many of your niebhors suffer from the same problems. we made the best guess together with regards to the type of shingle to use as when as you or i couldnt determin what brand was previosely used. were sorry things didnt hold up with regards to the several shinges we replaced but we both new it was only a stop gap measure. please feel free to contact us and well be more then happy to gve you the several hundred dollars back and do accept our apoligies
