  Horrible communication. Austin Carter is unresponsive and has not returned to complete finishing work for a job that took place 4 months ago. I know they take their reviews seriously so perhaps this will get the attention that sending repeated text messages to the owner’s cell phone hasn’t.

  I sincerely apologize for the disappointing experience you had, I personally take full responsibility for dropping the ball and not following up on the sliding glass door replacement you requested. I would like to try and make things right by replacing the sliding glass door at no charge to you.   I reached out last week to schedule a roof inspection for a quote for some work to be done. After confirming the date and time and receiving several reminders for the appointment this morning, no one has shown up. I’ve tried calling several times on several numbers and no one is answering the phone. I needed to take time off work to be home for the appointment and work it into my schedule but no one ever showed up or returned my calls.

  Kelsey, The "leak" you are referring to was from extensive ice dams on your home. This was not a result of flashing or workmanship issues. Ice dams are caused by lack of insulation and ventilation. However, I did send my guys out to your home today (at no charge) to try and help you in your time of need. I'm sure your insurance company will explain to you what causes ice dams when they do an inspection. You really should have someone come out and remove the ice from the front of your home or you will continue having leaks in the future. Make sure to have someone use steam and do not forcibly remove the ice because it may cause damage to your roof. I'm sorry you are having this issue, we really work hard to make sure every customer is satisfied with our work. Please let me know if we can assist with the insurance inspection or provide a reference for a good insulation company so this won't happen again in the future.

  Hi Kyle, I just wanted to clarify that we replaced the ROOF on your home and your issue is a SIDING issue. The picture you provided shows a small section of aluminum fascia that was damaged due to the recent wind storms. This has NOTHING to do with the roof or the Lifetime Warranty of your roof. Jim spoke to your wife on 12/27 and let her know that we are extremely busy dealing with a high volume of "wind damage" calls and we would contact you when things slowed down. At that time we would have been more than happy to provide you with an estimate to repair your storm damage...... We value all our customers and we generally would have helped you at no charge even though this had nothing to do with the roof replacement.

  We had the home fully re-sided. The workmanship and the attention to detail are outstanding. The project was delayed several weeks for several reasons. We would have liked to have better communication with Austin during that time period. Once the project began, Austin, Jim or both were here everyday. We would recommend this company for siding.

  I cant say enough great things about Jim and his crew. Jim was very thorough during the initial process, helping me understand how the tear off was going to work and answering any of my question I had along the way whether in person or phone call. The crew was great and very efficient. Clean up was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend!!

  I highly recommend this company. They came to my house at night on an emergency call when I had water leaking into my kitchen. They diagnosed and fixed it in the rain, in the dark. Very professional and fair price.

  High level, yes I would definitely recommend Carter. Price, knowledge, quality of work, cleanup, all great. I am usually squeamish going with the low quote. Really paid off this time. More detailed: The sales process was great. It wasn't some random 20-something who had never been on a roof. Jim knew the business and process. I wanted a metal roof. He could have just gone with it but instead he really questioned me about why that was what I wanted. He wanted to be sure I would get the value out of the more expensive option. I even received a quote for a traditional asphalt roof in addition to the metal. They are out to get you the right solution for your application rather than the most expensive option. I made the mistake of scheduling in the fall so project start got pushed a few times but that wasn't Carter's fault. They were pretty good about getting back to me when I called and didn't mind answering the same questions multiple times. Both Jim and the owner Austin were on site throughout the installation and cleanup to be sure everything was done right. Overall, great quality, great experience.
