  Shadiest business in WNY. Elderly Parents had their house resided and windows installed. Their work is extremely shoddy and now new “aluminum” flashing is “rusting”. Do NOT go with these underperforming hack jobs. I’d like to know what chemical reaction is happening here per their response? My mother hasn’t washed her home or had ANY chemicals on the house. Anybody is more than welcome to come out and take a look at their craftsmanship. It point blank is not good. Back your work!

  Brian, We have spoken with your parents and looked at this issue. The corrosion of the aluminum trim is not an installation issue. There is a chemical reaction happening in that area. This is an issue that is out of our control and that we did not cause in any way. When they contacted the manufacturer of the coil, they sent them a letter back stating the exact same thing that we had already explained to them. The corrosion is due to an environmental factor or a material that was already existing on their home reacting with the PVC trim coil. This situation has absolutely nothing to do with workmanship or the age of your parents as stated in your review.

  On 12/29/23 I agreed with American Customs Inc. on a projected price and was promised it would not to exceed 15% of $95,000. I paid $4,500 to get the project started. I was told not to worry and that we would not go over the projected price. I waited over 8 months and was told $115,000 and I agreed on the $115,000 the very next day given a bill of $129,000 1 week before we were going to start the build and was told the price will now be $129,000 and we are now not including the options that we agreed on originally agreed on (flooring included, matching exterior siding ect). When I questioned the price I was ignored or blown off then finally received a call after family member called a friend who works there. I was called back finally by an owner who said he will find out what happened and never called me back. I called the sales rep 2 weeks later who started the agreement with and was told that they will no longer be doing the project and will be keeping my money and sent me a false breakdown charging me for workers who were at my house for 15-20min (literally cut 2ft x2ft a hole in interior drywall only which took 15-20min) to look in the wall and charged for 4 hours for 2 workers ($1,200 for a hole in the wall that they never even vacuumed when they left). The hole is still in my wall and never fixed it. I called the main office and no calls were ever returned to me. I am disputing this charge of $4,500 because I feel scammed. I was given a price, the contractor no longer wanted to take on the project and they kept my money. I was pushing for 8 months to get started and they were too busy for my project so they hiked up the price to get rid of me. The business never tried to fix the problem. They just made a false bill and never called back.

  The payment that this homeowner made was for services rendered to design the project he wanted to do. There are a multitude of factors that have to be figured out and taken into consideration when designing and building an addition. This house in particular had some existing issues that had to be assessed and would need to be corrected. An architect has to be involved. Drawings/plans have to be created. NONE OF THIS IS FREE. He signed a contract to have all of this done and that is what his payment was for. It was NOT a deposit and there are no funds left to return to him. They were spent on the design time, the meetings with the architect, the workers at his house, and the plans that were drawn for him. The assertion that we took his money, never responded to him, and scammed him is untrue. This issue was presented to the BBB and closed. I believe all details are available through the BBB's website.

  I had them out to give me an estimate on siding our home. It’s been a couple weeks and never heard back from them. I called several times still didn’t get a call back. Very unsatisfactory!

  Waited months for an estimate, Steve came to look at what needed then I waited another 2 almost 3 weeks just for Steve to say they can't take on the job. What a joke for a place that does "Custom exterior" but wouldn't do an exterior job, without any explanation. Don't waste your time, look for a place that values your time.

  We contacted Mr Narvaez before his appointment, at which time he advised that he would not be attending the appointment he scheduled with us. Our estimator told him that he would still stop by and take a look at the project. That day, after taking a look at the house, he called Mr. Narvaez and got his voicemail. He left a mesage to please call him back. After a few days passed and not receiving a call back from Mr. Narvaez, he sent him an email explaining that our schedule for this type of work is full for the season. There is no way for us to know if we can take a project on until we actually see what the work entails and what timeframe the work is needing to be accomplished in. We are doing our best to service as many customers as we can but we can only take on so many projects within a timeframe. We try to ask as many questions as possible when people call in for a quote in an attmept to avoid wasting anyone's time. We may not have been as booked when Mr. Narvaez originally called, as we were at the time of the appointment.

  We had a great experience with American Custom Exteriors and Interiors for our roofing project. Starting with a very thorough inspection and quote by Kevin Mondschein. An honest assessment with no upsell, and no high pressure sales tactics like we had experienced with some of the other companies. Everyone that we dealt with at American were very professional during the entire process. Great communication from their scheduler Kyle. On the day our roof was replaced Rico and his crew of installers worked very hard. I was surprised that they finished the job in a single day.They were very courteous and respectful. Our project required a total tear off down to the rafters. We had all of the plywood, rake edge, drip edge, and wall flashing replaced. New ice water underlayment and shingles were installed. We added gutter guards as well. Great workmanship. Everything looks flawless. They did a great job on clean up of our property at the end. I would highly recommend American Customs!

  I highly recommend American Custom for their quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Choosing a contractor is an act of trust, and American Custom earned mine.   We had American Customs replace the siding on our business, and they did a great job from start to finish. Kevin was awesome to work with. He was always easy to get ahold of, kept us updated throughout the project, and was quick to answer any questions we had. Angel, the lead on-site, was so meticulous in his work. He worked very closely with us daily to make sure we were happy with the progress, or if we ever wanted anything to look different. The final product looks fantastic and the entire experience was seamless. Looking forward to working with Kevin again in the future!

  We are beyond pleased with the customer service, communication, and finished product. From the first phone call with Kyle in January for ice damming to the start and completion of a new roof and gutters in May Kyle, Kevin and Rico made the process seamless.
