  I hired this company in May. I'd call every couple weeks asking when my roof would be done/when they would need a deposit. Everytime I was told that they'd get my roof done before the winter and they'd have a date for me the next week. I finally let it go two months before calling again. Got told the gentleman I was working with had quit because his boss kept stringing along customers like me. There was never a plan to get my roof done. They take on more work than they can handle and still make empty promises. This put me at September, the end of the roofing season, with a leaking roof and scrambling for a back up plan. If you can't take the work just say so. I felt lied to and betrayed. I reached out to the owner to see if he could fix this situation. He called me back once and never returned my next call. If they had just told me they couldn't take on my home because they had too much work I would have understood and moved on to the next company. But because they were greedy and said yes, I got screwed over.

  Much like George (the only other 1 star review) Cole completely ghosted us, twice actually, after giving a quote and having us pick the colour of the metal roof. It happened first last year when he disappeared completely (no replies to voice mails or texts or emails) after taking our colour order. I figured he was just too busy (though replying to a text, even to say “Sorry, can’t do it, we’re too busy” can’t be hard, right?) I managed to get a hold of him in the off season, and he assured me that he’d bought all the panels and materials and they were in his yard waiting to go, and I’d be a priority this year. I contacted him (successfully) a few times starting in April: he even came by to look at our chimney which needs removing, which he figured he could do. He was off on jobs elsewhere (Calgary), but assured me he’d call on July 2, to start on the 3rd. He didn’t call, so I texted him. There was a bit of rain, so I figured we might reschedule for later in the week. When he never replied to texts or voicemails for another 2 weeks, I realized we were being ghosted again. I’m pleased to see how successful the company is—lots of posts on work in BC and elsewhere. Fact is, we desperately need a roof, and were happy to pay for one. Now we’re scrambling for another company, late in the season. As I see the company actually replies to public comments on google reviews (which is not, of course, my experience dealing with Cole directly) I figured I’d leave this, my first review, in case anyone else (like George last year) has this experience. Despite their claims that things will get better and that this sort of behaviour doesn’t reflect their values, it looks like they’re not there yet. So, in short, if you find yourself wondering why you haven’t heard a peep from Cole after a couple weeks, or a month, or months, the answer is he has bigger contracts, probably elsewhere, and you are not worth a brief text explaining that to you.

  Cole provided a quote to do our roof which we agreed to. He then went MIA and wouldn’t respond to calls, emails, or messages. Lots of good reviews from others; wish I could share a good review too.

  We had some shingles blow off our garage in a windstorm and needed them replaced quickly. We called a few roofers for quotes. C&M was helpful on the phone and quoted a reasonable price off the video we sent. As soon as the wind died down they fixed the shingles and cleaned up after themselves in a few short hours.

  We had a great experience with C&M Roofing. Cole was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He responded to my call very quickly and was at our house within just a few hours. It was pouring rain, and I’m sure they were extremely busy helping other homeowners with similar issues, but Cole still made time for us and fixed the problem promptly.   Cole and C & M roofing just replaced the shingles on our cabin in Waterton Park. Our old roof was aging and we were losing multiple shingles from high winds. Cole and his team did a fantastic job on the shingle replacement! I personally inspected the roof and the level of workmanship was outstanding. Throughout the entire process Cole was awesome to work with. He guided us through shingle selection and he followed through on the promised completion time. I highly recommend C & M Roofing.

  After our latest lovely southern Alberta windstorm, Cole graciously came to take a look and give an estimate. He came a couple of days later to repair and replace a few shingles. I highly recommend C&M roofing! Definitely will call on them again. Thank you Cole!

  I found a piece of a shingle in my yard. Phoned Cole and he was able to have Jared come out and take a look right away. He was very honest and was able to tell me that my roof was still in great condition and no further action was needed. Appreciated the quick response and honesty. Definitely recommend C and M roofing.
