  The roofers that come put are honest. The office staff are rude, non responsive and try charge an arm and leg for non exsisitent problems.

  After more than three months of trying to get Bilt-Well to our job site it became apparent that it was a monumental task for them to arrive to La Cañada Flintridge (no more than 15 minutes away from their yard). Multiple missed appointments …

  Leaky window repair. The men did a great job. They were on time and worked hard to repair the garage and the window. We give them a 10! That was before it rained! The window kept leaking after they came back twice and then in the last rain I called them twice and they never responded. There was a leak in the garage and they fixed part of it but said it was only leaking where they fixed it but the next rain it leaked in three other places along the edge of the stairs. They never got back to us. They weren't inexpensive either.

  Do not trust this company to install roofing units or lay new seals up to code. If you go with this company take every step to ensure the city inspects their work because they will try to avoid regulations to cut corners. And dont expect any timely response once he sees you’re actually inspecting their work after catching them. Prices are competitive because the quality is not.

  Took way to long and then did not deliver as agreed. Trampled my roses. Gave me the runaround and then made excuse after excuse. Now they won't return my calls.. I checked too late. They have a bad record at the State Contractors Complaint Board.l would definitely not recommend Bolt Well roofing company.

  Did not complete the work on time or to code. Destroyed a big peach tree in the front yard to make installation more convenient then refused to pay more than 25% replacement cost. …

  Receptionist there was unprofessional, wouldn't put me through to the department I needed to speak with regarding a matter.

  This is a great company to work with if 1) you don't mind being overcharged by a factor of 3 2) don't mind dealing with their poor response time, un-returned calls and inter-office communication skills 3) don't mind spending 2 weeks finding stray roofing nails in your driveway Read your contract carefully and don't trust the salesman when he says "oh, we'll take good care of it all" and don't expect a firm start date, they just show up and start whenever they feel like it and may not have everything they need when they arrive.   Roof replacement turned out great and completed on schedule. Philip the PM is trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. Alfredo and crew did a great job on the roof, including some intricate roof connections. The office staff was very friendly and responsive.

  I recently hired Bilt Well Roofing for a full reroofing project, and I was very impressed with the office, project manager, foreman, and the crew. From the very beginning, working with Philip, the project manager, was a great experience. He was consistently responsive to my requests, highly organized, and proactive in keeping me updated on the progress. One of the things I appreciated most was the lack of "salesman techniques." There was no pressure; Philip provided clear pricing, laid out the options, and let me decide what worked best for my needs and budget. It was straightforward and honest. What truly set Philip apart was his willingness to collaborate on the contract details. I came to the table with specific exhibits and particular issues that I wanted explicitly outlined in our agreement. Instead of brushing them off, Philip was incredibly patient, thorough, and accommodating. He took the time to review every detail with me and ensured everything was properly integrated into the contract so we were completely aligned before work began. I happened to be sick and incapacitated while they were reroofing my house, so it was vital that I could rely on Philip to ensure the work was done correctly. He completely exceeded my expectations by diligently providing nightly videos, photos, and clear explanations so I could comfortably follow the progress in real time while resting. This daily documentation gave me peace of mind while the heavy work was being done. Whenever I pointed out a specific concern or an area that needed attention, Philip was quick to address it and ensure the work met my expectations. I also want to give a massive amount of credit to Alfredo, the foreman, and the installation crew. They were incredibly hardworking and professional throughout the entire process. Alfredo and his crew made a point to let me know that all they wanted was to do good work for me, and that dedication absolutely showed. What stood out the most was their respect for

  I’m very happy to recommend Bilt-Well Roofing. From start to finish, their staff and crew guided me through the entire process with professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care. Bilt-Well is a local company I’ve known about for years, and after seeing several of my neighbors replace their roofs and recommend them, I finally decided to move forward myself. After years of worrying about my old roof, I’m incredibly relieved I chose Bilt-Well to protect my home. When I first started getting bids, another contractor focused on how complicated and uncertain the job would be, which honestly made the whole process feel stressful. That was not my experience with Bilt-Well. When I met Phillip, he was punctual (which I really appreciated) and immediately put me at ease. After carefully inspecting my roof, he clearly explained everything that needed to be done without trying to upsell me. He was knowledgeable, straightforward, and took the time to answer all of my questions. As the project moved into scheduling, Lupe was fantastic to work with. She handled scheduling and permitting, stayed on top of every detail, and was always responsive to my questions and concerns. It made a big difference having someone so organized and communicative guiding that part of the process. Once the work began, Phillip and the Bilt-Well crew were on time, efficient, and clearly very experienced. From the initial tear-down to the final shingle installation, everything was handled with precision and care. When the job was complete, my 30-year-old roof had been transformed into a clean, modern upgrade that completely elevated the look of my home. It truly looks better than ever. Bilt-Well exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and highly skilled roofing company in Los Angeles, I highly recommend them.

  Bilt-Well responded promptly to my first contact and continued to the finish. They were professional and provided two reasonable bids. They accepted my choice of repairs and performed the repairs promptly and neatly. I would recommend them.

  Bilt-Well Roofing did an outstanding job on our roof. We really appreciated their adivice to repair as opposed to replace our roof. They followed through with the repair in a very short period of time. I would highly recommend Bilt-Well Roofing, they are honest and reliable. Very thankful.

  Steve at Bilt-well Roofing installed my parent's roof when they built their house 35 years ago. The roof is still in excellent condition. If there are any leaks that occur (like this year's heavy rains), Steve's team is on it on the first phone call. I just spoke to him today to get his advice on how difficult my insurance company is being to renew our policy. I trust his judgement on roofing matters, and he is always available when I call. It's tough to find a competent roofer who is available when you need them, and who values the importance of a longstanding relationship. I highly recommend Bilt-Well for your roofing needs.
