  We requested a quote on their site for gutter replacement and the response we received was "If we had done your roof, we would have taken care of all your gutter, fascia, and other needs. Maybe you can call your roofer". This was from the office manager who responded directly to me via email. If a company is going to treat potential customers like this when first reaching out for a quote, I can only imagine the horrors of having signed a contract with them. Their website is great, it talks about their successes and how proud they are to serve their community and "AT BIG C ROOFING WE BELIEVE EVERY CUSTOMER SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE FAMILY WHEN THEY CHOOSE US FOR THEIR HOME REPAIR NEEDS". Yet, the response we received goes against everything here. We were customers who needed home repairs and we were not treated like family. There was no need for this rudeness and we will most certainly choose a company who does not treat their customers in such a way. We are people, not just dollar signs.

  This review is long overdue, Big C Roofing has 2 locations. The address he gave me was 350 Homestead Rd South, Lehigh acres Fl, 33936. From the beginning there were red flags about Bill’s business ethics, yet still I stepped out on faith and gave him a chance. The day Bill (aka) William Friddle came home to sign the contract for the work that needed to be done on my roof, he appeared to be more focused on securing the money more than assuring me that he could efficiently so the job, so much Bill took the CHECK and left his copy of the CONTRACTS. I literally had to call him back to come get his copy that was left behind. When the roof was said to be “completed “ I noticed an area of the roof that seemed to be a bit lifted than the rest. When I told Bill about this , he assured me that there was no need to worry, that it would go down, he said something to the effect of “ it will go down &stick with the heat of the sun”. When the inspector came out , he also noticed the area o am speaking of and explained that this does happens sometimes, but if it should not flattened out , contact Big C roofing. I waited for a few and noticed nothing changed with the area. I then made a call to Bill and explained that I wasn’t comfortable with it and would prefer that they fix it before befor I wind up having expenses down the line. I was met with dismissiveness and arrogance. This lifted shingles complaint went on for month before Hurricane Ian, yet still when I called Bill This year to tell him the shingles haven’t flattened down to even out , he’s telling me I have no warranty after an hurricane. Even as I reminded him that this was a pre-existing problem prior to Hurricane Ian, he was unmovable, he said if I wanted him to send someone out it would cost me $450.00. What a flagrant Con, at every angle he tried to find a way to get more money from me, all the while never rendering quality work.   i have saticfactorily resolved my disputes with Big C home owner BEWARE...i had a roof done by this company and it now looks like i hired a bunch of amateurs to do it. they covered a hole in my roof that i told them about, the flat roof over my lanai is so bad i have to have it completely torn off and redone, 25% of my new shingles are damaged from tar prints from shoes/knees/shingles laying on new shingles. if you want a professional job GO ELSE WHERE 7/28/70- update - i am almost 3 months into my dispute with this company over the amatuer work done on my roof. i have since learned that the better business bureau (BBB) has two spots on its website for comments about a business. the first is just for reviews. the second (which i have since noticed) is for complaints. if i would have noticed the complaint section when i went over the reviews, i would have never have hired them and ended up in the mess i'm in now. so, READ THE COMPLAINTS SECTION FOR ANY COMPANY YOU RESEARCH ON THE BBB AND THEN MAKE YOUR DECISION. also beware this company does subcontract work out. so you get what he pays for, not what you are paying for pics speak a thousand words...these are just 3 for the loads of pics i have of big c's amatuer work. there is alot more i have. and i am not seeking to reduce amount of my contract, i am seeking to have a professional roofing company fix what big c has done. and i also haven't had much to say anywhere except The BBB. but, now i am opening up every where i can, including social media. 8/3/2020 jus wanted to let everyone know this company isn't just a Lee County licensed company. they are also licensed in Collier, Charlotte, and Sarasota Counties. 8/30/20 almost four months since big c has finished my roof and i am still dealing with them, only now through their lawyer. they have made one offer to settle where they would do the work. only problem with that offer is that it didn't address all the damage they made to my roof. and one thing they

  We had our tile roof repaired in February. 6000$ for one and a half days of work and now the roof is leaking worse than before. We are calling every day, but no worker ever showed for the repair. Very bad service! After this review the company contacted me finally. The tile roof specialist was hospitalizes. He came back fixed some of the leaks and we are still waiting to get the rest done.

  Big C Restoration did a fantastic job on my roof. Friendly and a pleasure to work with. Irma and Ian had really damaged my roof. It now looks better now than when I originally had the house built. I am grateful for this company's professionalism and care to do a superb job.

  Owner Bill Fiddle was incredible to work with. I needed a new roof install as mine was pushing 20 years old. I overheard Bill at a restaurant talking about his company and asked him for a moment of his time; he graciously took a few moments out of his meal to talk to me and the next day he was out at my home measuring and providing an estimate. The price was very in line with other estimates I had received but the service was 10-fold better than I expected. I had two very small instances where I needed Bill's team to come back out and fix something and both times they were out there the same day and both problems remediated without fail. The roofing crews took enormous pride in their work, were on-time as planned, and very courteous and professional while they were there. I have referred Bill and Big C Restoration to three others including my mother-in-law, and the outcome was the same. Very professional, very responsive to service needs (at no extra cost, even though one of my service needs was probably self-inflicted by myself) and very reasonably priced. Thank you Bill and Big C for your great work and getting me through the next 15-20 years of Florida rainy seasons.
