  Not the "Best Choice" if you want to compare rates with other companies. We had already received one estimate from a competitor. My wife called Best Choice and informed them that we would like to get an estimate, but we were not in a hurry and we were thinking about having the work completed in the early fall. "Roy" was sent out to perform the estimate and he was very personable at first. We were happy with the estimate, but told Roy that we had an appointment for one more estimate and then we could make our decision. Roy wanted nothing to do with this. He told us if we did not accept his estimate now, he did not want to do business with us. He packed up his paperwork and departed like an adolescent child having a tantrum. We would never do business with a business which employees immature people such as Roy.

  Please accept my apologies if there is an active leak we will take care of it. I will call you in the morning and get another technician out there. We always stand behind and warranty our work. The crew leader was unable to identify any issues with the roof but we are here for you. My mobile number is 734-926-6978 feel free to call me anytime. Update to issue: After revisiting your home with a different installer, we were able to confirm that there was no issue with the roof or the installation. We thoroughly inspected the roof and found no leaks or any other problems. There was a small area of mildew on the interior ceiling that was easily wiped off with a dry cloth. To ensure transparency and accuracy, Mr. Washburn, who was present during the inspection, assured us that he would either modify or remove the negative review since it was based on incorrect information. However, we have not seen any action taken to correct the review, and we feel it is important to make a public record of our findings. By doing so, we aim to provide future clients with a true understanding of the care and diligence we put into serving all of our customers.

  If you enjoy chasing begging and endlessly calling to try to get a company to respond to you. Then this is the outfit for you. They make big fat claims about their quality and service. And then they ghost you without even the courtesy of a communication to let you know your status or whether they are even interested in bidding your job

  Mike I am surprised by this review and looking into this now. We did install smart vent intake ventilation on your roof which is a 1" wide strip cut in 6" up from the eave on the roof deck and runs end to end on the eaves edge to provide the proper intake ventilation where there is currently none existing. As far as the building permit, we always pull the proper and required permits. I can provide you with the permit number and hard copy along with proof of when it was applied for which was the week prior to your job being scheduled. Permit # PB21-1887 through the City of Livonia. We also register your warranty with the manufacturer, which is in the process of being submitted. since your job was just completed it takes time to upload and process the necessary documents. Whatever the issues may be we will either rectify or provide proof that it was taken care of and meets or exceeds current code. Our reputation and reviews show we don't let any issue sit unattended to.

  because of a bad storm in 2015 the back portion of our roof was damaged. Our insurance company would pay for the back half to be replaced. Our roof did not leak but we decided to pay for the other half ourselves and have a totally new roof. BAD MISTAKE!! Our roof did not leak but after they replaced it we had a very bad leak. We didn’t notice it at first because we had a lot of office equipment and furniture in the room affected. When we called the company to complain naturally it took forever to get someone out to look at it. Then they wanted to blamei it on bad house design. Even if it was a bad design we never had a leak there before. My husbands son (who works construction). Came over and climbed in the attic and took pictures. He also went on the roof And took pictures. The pictures show they did a very poor jobs in the area that leaked. Of course the company would do nothing about the extensive damage.to the room, and carpet or furniture. They tried to act like they were doing us a favor to patch the spot on the roof they kept saying it was the facial boards. WRONG AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Since I wrote this review I was contacted by Matt to see if we could resolve this issue. He sent over a man named Joe. Joe was wonderful and very easy to work with. He cut away the bad area In Our office and repaired it perfectly. I was very pleased and so glad Best Choice stood behind their work. I would definitely recommend this company. 5 star

  Jim, I want to first appoligize about your experience. When you called earlier this year about the concern with your roof replacement we completed last year, we came out to evaluate it the next day. We then sent out our service team member to re-pitch the existing gutters, adjust some of the drip edge in question and walked the roof with you to go over any other concerns. Since that last visit not hearing from you about any other issues, we believed that everything was resolved. The issue you described as covering up your gutters with shingles is the Vented Drip Edge, which is larger than standard drip edge. Vented drip edge was only used on the  portions of your home that did not have overhangs. The reason we did this was to provide you the correct amount of intake air to your attic. We then calculated the proper amount of cans needed for exhaust and kept your existing powervent per your request. Both of these calculations are based on an ideally balanced system (50% intake, 50% exhaust). Proper ventilation is required by State Code and the Shingle Manufacturer. Regarding the fan motor, in the picture you provided there looked to be underlayment that was not cut back covering a portion of the hole. We would have replaced the entire powervent upon you discovering this and would be happy to reimburse you for your costs into changing the motor. Again, I sincerely appoligize about this. We take pride in everything we do and are always there for our customers.

  Outstanding, professional roof installation. Meticulous detail was taken by Best Choice through every stage of the project. Initial inspection, quote, material choice, delivery and installation was performed seamlessly. I was extremely impressed with the initial inspection which drove every subsequent step - no surprises.   We felt comforted knowing it was a family owned company, had them out a while ago to check on a small siding issue and they knew exactly what to do! They made sure we were involved in the whole process, but took care of things professionally. Planning to have them inspect our roof soon as well. Highly recommend them!!

  Needed to get my roof done due to a small leak and the roof being quite worn out. I went through nine different companies with nine different consultations and inspections. Most of the salesmen/women were trying to upsell me on different products and would not take no for an answer. Most companies would keep reducing price even when I would ask for their best price. It is hard to trust a company that reduces their price four times just to get your business. Andrew from best choice, gave me the best price and would be completely honest with all the questions. His professionalism and insightful information gave me the confidence that I made the best choice (no pun intended). Due to this being a family run business they keep their overhead low so they have a very competitive price. The team that came through finished the work and cleaned up after themselves. After further investigation left one of my screen windows torn from the board. Update 6-30: John has reached out and is planning to get the screened fixed. Thank you for the follow up! Highly recommend to go with Best choice.

  We recently had a tree fall on our house. It made a huge hole in the roof. Andrew Donnelly came out and put a tarp on our roof to make sure the house didn’t get any more rain damage. He helped us a ton with working out insurance and we love our roof. My husband is a realtor and works with many contractors and and these guys are by far the best.

  Everything looks wonderful! I had siding, trim, and gutters done. I was originally only going to do gutters (and maybe trim), but Roy gave me such a great price, I decided to have it all done. I'm so glad I did. The house looks wonderful :)

  My new roof from Best Choice looks great. Roy spent a lot of time with me going over all of the shingle options to make sure we picked the right color. The crew did a great job with the installation and I was surprised how fast they were able to do it. Overall it was a good experience working with Best Choice.

  We had an awesome experience with Best Choice! Andrew was awesome with helping us plan out everything. He walked us through everything step-by-step and answered all of our questions, we had a lot of questions. He came by before, during, and after each project to check in and discuss next steps. He was great! Joe was awesome with the window installs, Cal and his crew went above and beyond with our siding and soffits. They made small but super impactful adjustments and fixes where needed that were left undone by the previous install as well. We had some exposed wrap on the front of our house from a previous Reno that was still exposed and Cal got us hooked up with some temporary siding to cover the eye sore until we are ready to move forward that matches the existing wall original siding perfectly. His crew cleaned up some damaged sections left over from a new roof install that was something we were not moving forward with until next season as well. I cannot rave enough about all these crews that worked with us through Best Choice. Even the partnered window company, Pella! We had some concerns about the screens that came with our new windows. They are amazing but we have a pretty athletic toddler that made us a little nervous being on the second floor. Bruce with Pella came by the house and installed new screens for the second level and left us the original ones to replace once our toddler is older. We will recommend Best Choice every-time!
