  I want to warn people to avoid this company based on their poor craftsmanship and even worse service. They replaced my roof 9 years ago and with the recent rains we noticed a leak which caused water damage in our attic that needed remediation. After contacting Bay View to have someone come out and assess the damage, I was told someone would get back to me with a quote the following day. Never heard from anyone but knew they were likely busy. After not hearing from anyone 3 days later, I began a series of 8 separate phone calls to find out the status of the quote and was told each time it would be fine the day after calling. After the 8th time, I called back and no one would return my call anymore. I finally had the work done by Clear View Roofing who did a terrific job overall and showed me pictures proving the leak had started years ago when the roof was replaced due to very poor workmanship. All that said, I called one last time using a different phone number to give them one final chance to acknowledge the poor follow-up before leaving them a bad review. I was called back immediately by Carlos who apologized and used the excuse that they’d been busy… however, I asked on several calls prior to tell me if they were too busy as I needed to get the leak addressed asap due to water coming in the house. Carlos asked to see my invoice and pictures of the repair work Clear Valley performed which I sent to him via email. He wanted to discuss with his boss and get back to me with their thoughts. He immediately acknowledged receipt after receiving my email. Never heard back from him again. He also sent me the quote I’d been waiting for which turned out to be $1,000 more than the actual repair Clear View performed. Therefore, I will never do business with such a bush-league and unprofessional company like Bay Valley Roofing again. And I would advise those looking for good work and good service to contact Raj at Clear View Roofing… they’re amazing!

  We take our customers experience very seriously and investigate every negative claim. After further review, it was discovered that we had made numerous attempts to contact this customer and when we finally connected, they were unwilling to do a sit down presentation to go over all the options we had put together for them. We as a business take on serious amounts of energy and expense into every single site visit we encounter. From the initial phone call in, to scheduling, to sending out a consultant and the consultant spending a minimum of 2 hours building each and every quote for every roof that is different for every different home we encounter. The only requirement to our free services is offering up an hour of a customers time to add value to the process and show our customers why we still have 5 star ratings across multiple platforms, why we have an A+ rating with the better business bureau, why we have a 95% score on Diamond Certified, why we were elected a 2 star presidents club member by GAF (the worlds LARGEST shingle manufacturer, and why we genuinely care about our customers and their experiences. This customer asked us to email a quote and price which we declined to do because we will not sully our opportunities by minimizing the experience and information required to make an informed decision about the most important asset of most people’s lives. We are NOT a cheaper roofer. We will NOT email bids. We will NOT downgrade our customers experiences for the one off customer who doesn’t care about value and is shopping on prices. We are not your contractor. I apologies if your experience was less than desired but we take pride in every quote offered. There are many other roofing contractors who may be a better fit for you and we always HIGHLY recommend a customer obtain a minimum of 3 bids from contractors to help make the choice that best fits their needs.   I was highly impressed with the integrity, quality of work, attention to detail, and professional communication from Bay Valley Roofing & Solar. I had to have a roof installed and my solar taken off and put back on. From the inception, when I was getting quotes, to the end of the project, each person I worked with at the company was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They clearly explained the quote with videos and in-person and/or Zoom meetings. What stood out most was that their time and attention didn't stop once I signed the contract — they remained just as engaged and communicative throughout the entire project as they were before I hired them. They kept me informed daily about progress, provided pictures and videos of the work, and treated me with a great deal of respect. I have never worked with a company that made a noisy and not-so-easy-to-understand house project go so smoothly and stress-free. Even the guys who worked here were a pleasure — they were respectful of my space and me, quiet, and left my house spotless. Five stars, no question — I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

  Outstanding experience overall. Nate was fantastic in the proposal and quoting process, clearly presenting the work to be done and representing the company very well. Ryan did a great job of managing the project while the work was done. The roof looks great and was done quickly with good cleanup of the property afterwards. Would recommend this company for their quality and service.

  These guys were great; completely professional, kept me in the loop the whole time and they finished so fast I couldn’t believe it. They also did a great job cleaning up after they were all done. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs a new roof!

  I highly Recommend Bay Valley Roofing. They explained everything very well. Were professional, efficient, did not leave a mess behind, and the job appears to be well done & extremely effective. We just had an atmospheric river dump on the Bay Area, and I saw no evidence of water traveling anywhere. They took a ton of pictures through every step of the process, so I could see what they were doing. The project managers answered every email, text and phone message as promptly as one could expect. This has been one of the best "contractor experiences" I've ever had.

  Putting on a new roof is a daunting project, but Bay Valley made everything a breeze for us! The process started with a thorough inspection, and then a very comprehensive video chat with Nathan, who explained all the options clearly and answered all our questions. Nathan was very knowledgeable, really listened to us, and helped us choose the best roof design for our needs. We received a comprehensive quote, and then Ryan took over to get our job scheduled ASAP. Ryan was very attentive to our project, both on site and over the phone. The work crew was punctual, polite, and took great care to clean up after themselves and treat us and our property with respect. And they did great work! We are so happy with our new roof and gutters, and highly recommend Bay Valley Roofing!

  We’re so glad we chose Bay Valley Roofing and Solar company to replace our roof. Working with Ryan was top notch customer service. Something we don’t see as much anymore. He’s professional, detailed, very pleasant and upfront with what is needed. He’s also easily reachable for any questions and we trusted we were in good hands with him. His crew was professional from beginning to end.The quality of workmanship is excellent and the entire process was smooth and efficient.   Bay Valley Roofing did a great job in replacing our roof. Although we were out of the area, they did an outstanding job of documenting their work and communicating with us in planning and executing the project. Very easy to work with and very thorough. No problems or issues with anything.
