  They are quick to respond but I have to make many calls to get the price way to long to get the proposal with high price for small work not like before .

Currently, four tiles have fallen off, and we discovered rotted fascia and plywood that must be repaired before the tiles can be properly and safely reinstalled. These additional repairs affect both the timeline and cost. Our pricing reflects the work required to ensure a safe, long-lasting repair, and we appreciate your understanding.

  Hi Matthew, we appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify the details of your project. Our original scope of work, as agreed upon, was to remove and replace 20 tiles. This work was completed in full, with documented photos taken before, during, and after the repair. When you later reached out regarding "missing tiles," we returned for an inspection and determined that the affected tiles were at the edge of the roof where new gutters had been installed—gutters that were not installed by Acker Roofing and were added after we had completed the tile replacement. These tiles were intact at the time of our original repair, meaning the issue arose after the new gutter installation. When we discussed this in person, you acknowledged that this was likely due to the installation process of the gutter company. We strive for transparency and high-quality work, and we stand by the completion of our contracted repairs. We appreciate your business and wish you the best of luck with your future roofing needs.

  Horrible experience with this company. NO communication. Simple request to tarp my entire roof per AAA. Contract was signed on Friday and tarpiing was supposed to happen Saturday 8 a.m..NO CALL, NO SHOW! Called Acker at 10 a.m. I was told roofer had family emergency. I can understand things happen but no one called. I had my dogs kenneled for two hours waiting on this company. They couldn't get anyone else out to tarp. Acker made another attempt to come out Sunday at 2pm. Nelson assumed he was only supposed to tarp a certain one area. My husband explained to him we had a contract to tarp the entire roof. Nelson goes on and on about he can't tarp the entire roof because he didn't have the wood. He said it would cause more damage if he put in nails. I would never pay anyone 1,000 to only tarp a certain one area. Nelson just did not want to do the job!

  I don't recommend this company; it is terribly managed. Spend your money somewhere else and hopefully have peace of mind. We had a terrible experience dealing with Acker Roofing. I’m so amazed by the many positive reviews they had, but we didn’t experience that at all. They had so many delays and they lacked proper communication. They started the job on October 5th and didn’t finish till November 8th. More than a month for this job. I understand sometimes materials don’t arrive on time, or something was missed, but not to this extent. The job is to replace the existing shingles, put a new decking, and take out a chimney stack and replace it with a skylight. We really didn’t know when they would show up, or when they were waiting on materials to be delivered. We had to contact the office to ask about the progress of the job. They did update us, then they added “the worker should’ve told you”, which they didn’t. They also left the dumpster in the driveway for more than 2 weeks with no work; again no communication about it. There was a week or so of no one showing up, so we asked the office about it. They blamed it on the city permits. They stated that they didn’t word it right, and they didn’t include the skylight permit… even though that’s what we agreed on from the start. Again, we had to ask for an update. Another delay was that they ordered the wrong skylight.. Even though one of them came inside the house to check which one to order. Also, stated that they will paint to match the roof around the skylight. After they finished the skylight, we asked them if someone was coming to paint. The office stated that they don't come inside the house and paint. Yet, from the start they said they would. On top of that, they would ask us to pay before finishing the job. On the contract it states that there we pay a deposit, 50% when they start the job, and 50% when they finish. They also wanted us to pay something we didn’t agree on.   I first used Acker Roofing about five years ago, and I recently hired them again to replace my mom’s roof. Once again, they did an excellent job. I got quotes from three different roofing companies, and Acker Roofing offered the most reasonable price. There were no surprise charges or hidden fees throughout the entire project, which I really appreciated. Roland was amazing to work with. He was responsive, professional, and followed up with me regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly. The whole process was stress-free from start to finish. I have another property that will need a new roof soon, and I’ll definitely be using Acker Roofing again. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest pricing and great service!

  Top notch all the way around. Kevin did a great job on initial assessment and explanation. Dean was beyond excellent in talking us through every detail and answering all my newbie questions. Guessing not many people probably buy more than one roof in their lives, so it’s a learning process and Dean was great all the way through. He facilitated getting us samples of a dozen different shingles to choose from for color. Threw in some extras on installation that were not on the quote to make us happy with the details. Price quoted was the best we got, including no markup on permit fees. And without doubt best service you could hope for. His quote was also the only one with thoroughly detailed info on methods and materials. Most others were just a single line lump sum “trust us” kind of quote. But for $20k you might want some details! Dean delivered. Also certified for the best warranty in the business. Lots of other business charge extra for that, Acker included it in the cost. And lots of other installers advertise or say that they’re certified with various shingle companies, but surprise, they’re not! Buyer beware. I called and emailed the manufacturer to verify after getting quotes, and most weren’t authorized to offer the extended warranties. But if you didn’t check and then 20 years later you need to make a claim, surprise! Peace of mind, Dean and Acker are fully legit. Plus, Dean is a straight shooter no BS kind of guy, not a pushy salesman. Acker truly earn all those 5 star reviews, now including mine. Thanks guys!

  Acker Roofing was a great choice. Dean Mouser’s quote was the second lowest out of 6. The lowest quoted company only had 10 reviews and 4 were horrible. Acker roofing has hundreds of 5 star reviews. Acker roofing did a great job for a reasonable price, and also updated the vents for a more sleek design. The roof looks great and is prorated for 30 years. Will recommend them to anyone I hear thinking about roof replacement.

  Acker Roofing did a great job of replacing our roof. They listened to my specific needs, found a good solution, and troubleshooted problem areas. They were able to fit us into their schedule and the job was done quickly. They handled all the permits and inspections and provided me with a letter on letterhead that was easy to show my insurance company to prove we had a new roof. Great quality product and service. Would highly recommend.

  The Acker Roofing team is wonderful!! They are caring, efficient and experienced. We had a roof leak and needed guidance on where it was coming from and what was needed to get it fixed. Even though their schedule was packed with larger projects, Acker made time for us, figured out the issue and implemented a patch that would keep us dry until a bigger, longer term fix could be scheduled. Dean, Kevin, Tanya and the whole team always kept us informed and aware of what work would be done and when. We highly recommend Acker Roofing!
