  We paid this company $400 to remove and replace screens at our house; however, they kept putting us off, then they never completed the work. I contacted them numerous times. Sure, I screwed up by trusting this company and paying them upfront. But lesson learned with them. They simply never came back out. Do not use this company.

  Don’t know who you are but never did receive any payment from you for screen replacement. I’m not a screen company please show me a signed proposal to replace your screens and a copy of the check showing payment.

  I was referred to Armor roofing by a friend. Little did I know that it would be one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor . When you are making decisions on your own it is sometimes difficult to understand what the insurance company is paying for and what you are. Jim Hunter helped me through understanding my claim. Highly recommend Jim Hunter and his crew.

  Armor Contracting and Roofing are awesome! I first did business with the owner, Jim Hunter, back in 2009. We had a bad hail storm in Cedar Park, Tx. He replaced my roof, and a few of my neighbors roofs at the time...Jim and his crew did an amazing job. They worked with the insurance company, and got me a fantastic upgraded roof that was affordable... I never had any problems with the roof over the years....Now fast forward to 2025, i'm in a new home in Georgetown, that is only 3 years old. To my dismay, we recently had major roof damage, due to high winds, and crappy workmanship. Paying for a whole new roof, on a brand new home, was not in the financial plans. But I knew who to call. Jim and Armor Contracting replaced my entire roof, with upgrades to handle the winds. His bids were much better and fair value than any of the competitors...I trust Jim. They did a fantastic job, the roof looks great! The house is better insulated, quieter, and I no longer fear the winds or spring storms. I cannot be happier with my new roof. They did everything they said they would do, and more, and did a fantastic job on the cleanup! A+++ Service. Don't hesitate, call Jim Hunter @ Armor Contracting for your roofing needs. PS, they also rebuilt both of my gates on my fence, that were damaged by wind...They are stronger then ever, and work great!

  Recently I needed to have my roof replaced due to hail damage. I am a widow, and my husband has always handled the major house projects. Armor was highly recommended to me by Hill Country Seamless Gutters. I contacted Jim that day and he came by the next day to look at the roof. He was on time, very passionate about the quality of his work, extremely knowledgeable about roof replacement, had a solid understanding of the insurance process, over 25 years of experience; and a 5 star rating with the Better Business Bureau. When the insurance adjustor came to inspect the roof, he was there with me. I felt like I won the Lottery! The whole project (work & insurance) went so smoothly, and I knew exactly what to expect. Jim also came by frequently to make sure the work was moving along and on time. I noticed that he also has great relationships with his vendors and workers which says a lot to me. Jim is as honest as the day is long and his promises are golden. He will be the first person I call when I need help! Obviously, I Highly Recommend Armor Contracting!

  Armor Contracting, LLC is highly recommended for both roof replacement and repair, or other contracting needs. They are a local company, which provide honest and competitive rates, and they always warranty their work. I have used Armor Contracting for two roof replacements on different homes as well as some other make ready repairs for homes to be sold. Prompt service, good communication, professional service. A+++

  I wanted to take a minute and thank James and his crew for the work they did at my home. We had them come in a do a major renovation of our home. Started just before the holidays, we moved everything out of our house and moved to a temp home for a couple of months because of the amount of work they were doing. He estimated right about 2 months and finished a little early. 2500 sqft house, replaced all flooring with wood looking tile, painted all walls and ceilings, refinished cabinets, knocked out several walls that were closing up the flow. retiled fireplace, took out door and wall in 2nd bath, made pony wall. replaced all fixtures, door hardware, cabinet hardware. we had a garden tub with small shower in master bath, completely remolded to one large shower with two shower heads. the list goes on and on. he was in complete communication the entire time with daily briefs of where we are at. there was always someone at the house working during the day which made this progress so far. my family and I have been very happy with the work, so much so that I have recommended him to several friends as well for new jobs. thanks again for all the help here!!

  Jim, with Armor, took care of everything. From the time I reached out to him until the roof was replaced was less than a week. His team did a great job and cleaned up very well before they left.

  5 star experience with this team. They communicate great and walk you thru the entire project in detail so you know what to expect. The crew is super efficient and detail oriented. We couldn’t be more pleased with the roofing work they did and would highly recommend to all our friends.

  Had my roof shingled, a metal roof put on a shed, and the siding on a two story chimney painted. The crew worked fast and the results exceeded my expectations. I would recommend these guys to anybody.
