  I was really excited about using this company. I was told really great things about them. But then I set up an appointment for them to come out and look at our roof and this morning I get a text explaining that they're super busy and do not have time even though we were on the schedule. It's okay I'm going to give them a two out of five because the person I initially talk to you on the phone was really nice to me.

  Do yourself a favor and go with another roofing company. The finishing job was terrible and there are visible nails in my shingles…. They put nails in the corners of the flashing and not into the designated holes. They did not clean my gutters like the contract indicated and did not do a good job of picking up nails either. It appears the company responded to my review but I am just now seeing it. They did get some of the punchlist items taken care of, but overall I am still very dissatisfied with Applehanz. As a certified building inspector for the state of Kansas I am saddened to see such a lack of quality in what I thought was supposed to be the premier roofer for Shawnee county. Do yourself a favor and don’t give these guys your business.

  The finishing work was terrible and there are visible nails in my grandsons new shingles. The gutters were not cleaned as indicated and overall poor quality.

  This company are now doing my neighbors roof they are about 10 feet away from our house their workers are rude and messy at least this crew they are using on this job. They threw their supplies against my house the workers blocked our whole front street instead of using the neighbors part of the street also blocking our mailbox they had loud music playing well into 9 pm when we asked for them to move their vehicles none of them spoke English or acted like they did not know English and a couple the men were being flirtatious I was surprised that a well known company have workers that act like that I would never use them and would not feel comfortable with them around my home also my neighbor to the south of me asked them not to block her mailbox and the one female they had working for them began speaking Spanish calling her names however the neighbor is also Hispanic and understood what she was saying a male worker then stepped in as well as my neighbors husband trying to get her to stop I usually do not make reviews or state my opinion but felt the need to let people know as this kind of thing should be reported

  Applehanz did great on the roof. They left nails in the old gutters (to be replaced a week later), all around the house, in the driveway, in fact, my husband was walking out in the middle of the yard and ended up with a roofing nail going through his shoe. Thank God it didn't break skin. There was only one person on the crew that spoke VERY broken English. Trying to find that person, was NOT a happening thing. Ugh. My husband had explained to the "owner/foreman", and showed him a phlange in the back that needed replacing. He said he'd get it taken care of. Roof has been replaced, guttering has been replaced, (and more nails all over), but the old messed up phlange is still there. My husband called the company. The piece is in the warehouse, it'll be taken care of sometime. It shouldn't take 3 appointments and more nails in the yard and driveway.

  Dave who came to inspect was punctual, professional, and honest. Ross who gave us the quote was unfair in pricing. Obviously jacked up price for over $800! There was an itemized bill without prices, so I asked for itemized prices and was …

  Appelhanz sent another Mexican roofing company out. Yes the got it done in one day but the problems I have had after that is not worth it. First problem purchased shingles with a 50 year warranty. They told me I had to have 2 more roof vents installed. They didn't do that. They sent a guy out he installed the vents no big deal. Few months later found a roof leak by remodeling a room in my home. Not satisfied.

  Very pleasant experience from providing a variety of roofing options to scheduling to installation. Ross went above and beyond to help me find a roof option that was cost effective with the amount of insurance money I got for storm damage. The installers were friendly and had my new roof on within a day. They left and it was almost like they were never here with how well they cleaned up. Very good experience with Appelhanz!

  I served 39 years in the insurance business and Appelhanz is the best! They put the outdoor furniture back in place and cleaned the debris till the yard, driveway, patio and deck were spotless after roofing my house July 1st 2026. Great company, great crew!

  These folks were excellent to deal with. They removed two layers of shingles, and installed a beautiful roof. Things went exactly how they said it would, and they got it done in one day. Everything was cleaned up probably better then when they started.

  I have worked with Appelhanz for years in my Real Estate business so naturally I called them for an inspection and roof replacement. They did a tear off, replacement and cleaned up I one day. Service was great!

  Appelhanz Roofing replaced my roof and gutters due to a hailstorm. The roofers did a great job and even stayed late to finish as the was a slight chance for rain the next day. Luke the project manager addressed all my concerns. I would use this company again.

  I made a insurance claim for storm damage. Luke Yoder was very helpful in this process, he answered all my questions and made sure we for what we wanted. Would recommend Applehanz roofing and gutter to friends and family
