  A total waste of time dealing with this "professional". Not only was he unwilling to provide me an estimate despite my flexibility as prospective customer on both schedule and budget. I have never seen such an arrogant attitude from a service provider. If a client is interested in a given commodity and can afford the price, businesses will accommodate to suit the latter's needs. However this particular individual (Andrey Anderson), wasn't "convinced enough" I wanted his refinishing services, despite me showing interest and asking the right questions. Save yourself from disappointment and back and forward email nonsense from this auto proclaimed "expert", and get yourself a reputable Canadian hardwood installer who is not suck in the 1950s mindset and will say "how high" when you say "jump"!

  I was very impressed with Andrew's work finishing my floors especially making sure every detail of the work was perfect. He also was very helpful by removing and re-installing the 1/4 rounds in each room at no extra cost! I would certainly recommend to any future customers and wish him luck in his future career. Gail

  Andrew provided a quote quickly and the final bill was exactly as discussed! We had deep scratches and dents in the flooring that he made disappear. He provided us with his professional opinion to bring the floors up to the natural colour and so glad we did they look amazing. We couldn't be happier with the service he provided and the quality of his work.

  My review is long overdue and I want to apologize to Andrew for that. We contracted Andrew to add in hardwood to our lower level and for it to match the upper level. Andrew is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. I had all the confidence in the world that our hardwood would be done right and will last. Andrew kept to our timeline and budget. His price is fair and you do get what you pay for. I really enjoy his working style and he's just a great guy in general. I am really happy with the results and would not hesitate to work with Andrew again or to recommend him to anyone who wants things done right.

  I highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking to install hardwood floors. He helped us choose the right type of wood to match our existing hardwood and did the work with great precision and to the highest standards. The floors look great and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Andrew is a true professional, pleasant to work with, and simply a great guy.

  Andrew installed new oak floors on our main floor, and the floors are stunning. The oil finish he uses allows the natural character of the wood to show through and creates a really warm, organic feel to the wood. We've had a number of people comment on the beauty of the floors. Andrew was also a pleasure to work with and comes to the job with a great deal of knowledge and pride in his work and passion for working with wood. We would use anyone else for our flooring,

  Working with Andrew to refinish our 22 year old maple floor was a very positive experience. He answered questions and emails promptly, showed up on time, completed the project on schedule and on budget and to a very high standard - a true professional. In our experience this is very rare! The results were beautiful beyond our expectations. I love the WOCA oil finish. I recommend him highly!

  I can not recommend Andrew highly enough. He did an excellent job replacing our hundred year old floors with beautiful new Douglas Fir. He started and finished the job on time and was excellent communicating with us throughout the process. He is very conscientious and went out of his way the keep our place as dust free as possible. He gave us an estimate at the outset and stuck to it. Great guy to deal with. Ask him about his honey business!

  I would highly recommend Andrew! Not only was his work of the highest quality, he was pleasant, honest, had a lot of experience and knowledge and was very reliable. We had existing 25 year old hardwood flooring on our main floor, and asked Andrew to replace the joining carpeted areas on the main floor with hardwood. He stripped the old flooring and stained the whole thing (new and old) with the same stain color. He did a really good job of matching the flooring and you would never know it was installed later, it looks seamless. I found him just by googling, and after talking to other companies and getting other quotes, I chose to go with Andrew. We are very happy that we did and I would not hesitate to recommend him. I checked out his references and saw the work he did in other homes and was impressed by not only the quality of his work but also by others' positive experiences in dealing with him. 5 stars!

  Andrew was great to work with right from the beginning. In fact, we had to change our date and he was very accommodating. He showed up on time, and the floors were finished on time as well. They look amazing and the WOCA Oil is a great product to work with.

  We recently hired Andrew to install the hardwood on the second floor in our house. We were on a very tight timeline, even with a full schedule Andrew found a way to fit his work in between other conflicting schedules and completed the job in a very short timeline and to the highest standards. The work included hardwood installation, sanding, oiling, and installation of baseboard molding. I was truly amazed by the quality of work! My wife and I are extremely happy with the finished floors. We would highly recommend Calgary Custom Hardwood Flooring and Stairs floors to anyone looking to have their floors done.

  A great job, a great overall experience. We recently had our hardwoods refinished on our main floor of our home by Andrew. We initially researched a couple of contractors to do the work. What caught our immediate attention when we found Andrew was his quick, up front, honest, detailed response. He's excellent at educating you on what options are out there, lets you make the final decision on how you want to move forward, there are no hidden costs and he makes no promises that he can't deliver on. We knew exactly what we were getting from day one and Andrew delivered. During the work it was quickly evident that he cares, is meticulous and takes ownership of his work. He communicated to us regularly on how things were going throughout the job. When he was done, he even went above and beyond to help us move some of our larger appliances back into the main floor of our home. He's a true professional and focused on customer satisfaction.

  We're loving our 'new' floors. I was nervous about having the floors refinished because we had recently had new kitchen cabinets installed. I appreciated that Andrew was very careful working around them so they weren't damaged. He takes pride in his work. We're very satisfied customers.

  Recently we decided to take out the carpet from our home (family allergies) and replace it with hardwood. Andrew was amazing from the very first day he came to give us an estimate. He was honest and helpful, and saved us some money (which is always lovely). He was accommodating to our kids and dog, as well as our travel plans. Andrew kept us informed of his progress and even came an extra day to let the cleaner into the house for us so we could keep our kids away from the dust (those pesky allergies again). Andrew even helped us move the furniture and appliances. The floors look amazing and have really brightened up our house. I recommend Andrew and am grateful for all he did to help us with this huge reno. Thanks Andrew!!
