In spring 2024 I purchased a $2,000 service credit through Kootenay Auction. Communication was good at first, but after declining a very high quote for re shingling a small shed, responses became slow and often nonexistent. I agreed to have siding installed instead and was told the work would be done in the spring. The job ended up taking over a year and a half to complete, with most of 2025 going by without replies despite monthly emails. Only after giving an ultimatum in early 2026 did the work finally get scheduled. The response I received at that time was also condescending, saying the job was small and negative reviews would not speed things up. When the work was finally completed, the quality was disappointing. Paint was left on the wall beside the siding, the top above the door was crooked, the sides were not painted, and the colour was not properly matched. Overall, poor communication, long delays, and sloppy workmanship made this a frustrating experience.

They do not return messages or calls... I had to get other roofers to tell me what they had sprayed my roof with . I was told I was way overcharged for what was done.... I would not recommend them at all!!!

Thank you for sharing your concerns. I'm sorry to hear that you're dissatisfied with the service. This was a one-off solution provided as a favor, tailored to temporarily extend the usability of your roof given you could not afford a full replacement, and it is not reflective of our typical customer experience. For communications, our primary method is via phone, and we are currently working to improve our responsiveness on social media platforms. Please direct any urgent queries to our office for immediate attention. Best regards, AdaptiBuild

A skylight should bring in natural light: not water. ☀️ Skylights are one of the most common fail points we see on sloped shingle roofs. Damaged units, worn seals, or improper flashing can allow moisture into your attic, ceilings, and walls: often before the problem is easy to spot. Because skylights are integrated directly into the roofing system, repairs and inspections are best handled by an experienced roofing professional. Regular checks can help catch issues early and keep your home protected. Noticing staining, dampness, or a draft around your skylight?
