  Had a man come out for an estimate for roofing. He gave me 3 different prices. He didn't have a salesman's license there was no Maryland Home Improvement license on any of the paperwork he had that is required. I don't even believe they are Licensed to do work in Maryland. There should be M.H.I.C. license numbers on their web site as well as on the contract and all advertising. After reading the reviews, I would stay away from this company.

We also had a team member come out today (10/28/2025) to follow up with the homeowner on any debris left behind which he found nothing. We understand your concern about debris, particularly nails. We use a magnetic roller to sweep the ground around every job site multiple times. We truly value the communities we work in and want to ensure we leave a positive impression.   American Design and Build left nails and screws on the roof. I don't know what kind of chemical was used, but it killed my grass, and the crew knock off one of the stone on my garden wall.

Regarding the grass, we do not use chemicals when replacing a roof, however, we did re-seed the affected area after the project was completed to help restore it. We understand how important your lawn is, and with time and care, the new seed should take hold and fill in naturally. As for the nails and screws, our crew does a full cleanup after every job, including magnet sweeps. However, with the recent heavy rains, it’s possible that some nails may have washed down from the roof via the drain spouts. We also apologize for the stone that was displaced from your garden wall. Since nothing was broken, we carefully returned it to its original position to restore the wall's appearance. Please feel free to reach out to our office directly so we can schedule a time to address any remaining concerns.   Very disappointed with this shop. The service was extremely poor, and the staff’s rude behavior made the experience even worse. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this place to others.

  Called for a quote and was told the "company policy" is that they will only come estimate if my husband is there, too. That is so insulting. We're getting multiple quotes for multiple renovation jobs, we divide up the labor in this marriage, and this just tells me they're looking to pressure-sell.

  I had my front door replaced by American Design and Build this spring. They replaced my back door and windows last year. I couldn't be happier with the results. AD&B provides exceptional service, quality products, and professional installation. Big shout out to the installers, Justin and Jeremy for their high standard of skill, quality work, and attention to detail. Fine workmanship!

  I had used American Design and Build 14 years ago st my former house and had excellent service. When I needed gutters and a window cut in st my new location, ADB accepted the job when several other companies would not and did a FANTASTIC job! Even after a storm dented one gutter 2 weeks after initial installation, they replaced it for nominal fee (likely labor-act of God). The workers (J&J) were professional, kind and personable. I highly recommend them.

  American Design and Build did a full facelift for my home. Siding, soffit, gutters, flashing. It looks like a new house! Everything was done with care and detail oriented. The team worked hard and cleaned up like they were never here. Could not be happier with the results.

  We had a new front door and transom window installed. Both were of superior quality to those we replaced. The crew showed up on time and efficiently completed the job in a few hours. Cost was a bit more than what we hoped, but it should be worth it for the much better insulation and security.

  We had solar panels installed with American Design and Build / American Century Solar. Zero out of pocket cost! Every one we had been in contact with had been professional, helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to install.

  great experience with AD&B, the whole team worked together to get us a new roof.. when you have a HOA involved it adds to the effort. looks great and I don't have to worry about issues for a very long time.
