This Company does not meet quality standards I was disspointed in their work ethic and the quality they claim to be Jonathan is not helpfull after pay the lack in contact on their final check ups that is not very great for a family owned buisness as he or they claim to be, Jaime and his helper did not satisfy me on their sloppy work they did I still had to clean up their mess after they left so my pets could get around not very proffesional to me thank you and think twice before trusting these people with your money and on your future projects.

I hired John to do a roof in San Jose and he seemed like a professional and good contractor. This turned out to be not so true. He failed his first inspection because there was no one there to meet the inspector, this is ok but not professional you should always be there for an inspection just in case you can quickly repair something and get it passed. So he rescheduled the inspection and told me it went well. This was about a month before COVID started. I found out recently when pulling permits for other work that he had not been signed off and my roof was still not finalized. Now he refuses to get another inspection for me and blames the inspector. The inspector is not my issue either but he wants me to pay for a new permit since it’s been over a year inactive. It’s been over a year and I still don’t have a final on my roof!!!!

Will would really appreciate you removing this post, we did have issue with getting a final during pandemic and had to pay a second time for the permit to get finialed, appreciate the business.

Excellent work! They came out the very next day after we called and found out exactly why our skylight leaked during the last big winter storms and then fixed the problem without things getting complicated or expensive. Highly recommend!

Alta-Cal Roofing fixed a tile that came loose for free! They were courteous, came when they said they would come and did a good job. Another roofing company I called was too busy for a small job, but Alta-Cal came and did it without a …

Julio and the crew did an amazing job. They were concerned, careful and thorough. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the responsiveness of the company. I would definitely use them again. They converted my roof from concrete tile to asphalt shingle and there were a number of challenges which they easily resolved.

We had a great experience working with Alta Cal Roofing on a complete roof replacement and gutter installation for our hotel. From start to finish, John was fantastic to work with. He was responsive, attentive, and kept us informed throughout the entire project. One of the things we appreciated most was how much of the process he handled on our behalf. He coordinated directly with the city, managed the permitting process, arranged the required asbestos testing, and stayed on top of all the follow-up. As business owners, we didn't have to get involved in the day-to-day details, which made the entire experience much less stressful. His crew was equally impressive—they were punctual, professional, hardworking, and easy to communicate with. The project stayed organized and moved along smoothly from beginning to end. Replacing a commercial roof is a major undertaking, but John provided excellent guidance every step of the way and made the entire process feel seamless. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and will absolutely be using Alta Cal Roofing again for our next roofing project. Highly recommend!

Alta-Cal inspected the roof, made sure the shingles near the gutters were lying flat, repaired a cracked facia board, sanded it smooth and painted. I can’t even tell there was a repair. John was friendly, professional and efficient. I was away from home while the repairs were done and John sent pictures of the job in progress and at completion. They even cleaned my roof! I would highly recommend them!!

We had a persistent leak during storms that entered somewhere around the chimney. John came to the house, spent an hour researching the problem. No charge. He made recommendations that he thought might solve the issue. The work was performed and no leaks after three significant storms. Thanks John
