  3 days since they visited no quotes, no one picks phone. The person who came for estimate looks overwhelmed with installing a 50ft downspout at garage. Not giving me confidence!

  Acme was great to work with up until the roof installation was completed. It took them about 2 days and a half to finish the new roof replacement however. Inside of our garage multiple redwood pieces were broken off in addition to damage caused to our laminate roofing on the side of our home in which they took ownership and stated they would fix it however. Its not been about 2 months since the roof has been replaced and they have not fixed there mistakes like they said they would. They keep giving us the work around on when they will comeout and then become unresponsive. If you decide to get work done with Acme make sure you inspect your house post installation and make them repair any issues on the spot.

  This review is for shady contractor practices and unresponsiveness. I have a small shed that needed re-roofing and I chose Acme Roofing for their reasonable proposal of $2800. They came out on 6/25/2021 to do the work, which went relatively quickly since it's a small shed roof. I was here all day and came out a few times to watch their progress. At the end of the day, I asked to do a walk-through with one of the guys, and he let me know he was not the guy for that. He said that someone would contact me to do the final walk-through. So, I waited a week but didn't hear back from Acme. On July 6, to my surprise, I received an additional invoice for $2,000 for change order on the re-roofing job. At this point, I emailed them requesting a final walk-through and requesting where this bill came from as no one had told me about any of this on the day of the job. I was home all day, in and out of the back yard, and available at all times for someone to approach me that a change order was needed. It is now July 15, and I have yet to receive a response to my request for a walk-through and an explanation for the additional bill. It's been silence from the company. My correspondence was to Michael, Hector, and Bernice. I would have expected at least 1 person to contact me by now.

  I’m sure the quality of your work is great but not the drivers representing your company. I would appreciate it if your drivers drove more appropriately. One cut me off to go 35 in front of me then proceeded to further slow down until he came to a complete stop at a green light, causing me to miss it when I was trying to get electrolytes to my extremely sick sister who’s nonstop throwing up. he finally turned into the gas station with no blinker, not even paying attention at all.

  Jesse offered me advice on what turned out to be a simpler roof repair than I thought. Jesse gave me advice on how I could apply some roof waterproofing material I could buy at the Home Depot and be fine with it. He didn’t charge me anything either. I really appreciate his honesty and willingness to share his knowledge with me and how pragmatic he was in offering his advice rather than take the job and charge me which would have been much more expensive for me.

  I was thoroughly impressed with Conrad Roofing & their team’s attention to detail and promptness. The on-site staff consistently arrived on time and demonstrated respect for our property.   ACME Roofing inspected and repaired my roof for me. Their work was excellent. They were very professional and cleaned after themselves. The highlight was they had very good customer service skills -- which is often hard to find in contractors these days. I recommend them!

  I simply am over the moon with the great job that ACME’s crew did on our roof. We were in contact with numerous contractors for the job, but ACME was consistently a cut above the rest, our communication was mostly done through email (my preference) and it was always prompt, usually receiving a reply in time for me to think, “Wow, that was a fast reply.” Further, their quote for the job was formatted professionally and concisely. So many other contractors aren’t as professional with their quotes and Hector’s crew is absolutely professional in every detail. They really set a high bar for us to evaluate the rest of the crews involved in our home renovations. We were quoted 2-3 days to complete the job and I am still amazed at how efficiently and exactingly they completed the work. After 2 days all the roofing and gutter work and debris cleanup were done. They only needed a third day to pickup the last bags of refuse that wouldn’t fit on the truck on their 2nd day. Everyone we interacted with on the crew was great and made the process astoundingly easy (it has been like pulling teeth with some of the other contractors and that was just to get a quote). When one of our neighbors or friends needs roof work, before they can even finish asking for a recommendation we’ll be shouting, “ACME!” because there really shouldn’t be any other answer. They’re the best you could hope for and I’m so happy they were recommended to us.

  ACME was very professional. Responsive, clean, flexible in problem solving, diligent and quiet. They worked in conjunction with Tesla’s solar installers who were the complete opposite, but ACME were able to compensate, and get the final job looking great. I would highly recommend them for any roofing job in the Bay Area.
