We hired All State Roofing and Chimney to re-shingle our roof 3/26. During the project they discovered the decking was 3/8” plywood instead of 1/2”, so they replaced the whole roof, assuring us they would obtain the required permit after …

Mike and his team came out to look at our roof in February when we had a major leak after a snowstorm. They quickly cleared the snow which we appreciated. That’s when things started going wrong- they initially quoted us $5k to replace part of the roof, that climbed to $35K when they inspected further and said more of the roof needed to be replaced. Eventually we paid $78k for the entire roof to be replaced. They assured us insurance wouldn’t cover any of it and didn’t take any pictures or document any of the work they were doing. As new homeowners we went along with it all- just concerned with getting the fix done before the ongoing snowstorms caused more leaks. To be fair to them we did not get additional quotes so I cannot say if their pricing was fair or not but the fact that they did not document anything meant we were not able to get insurance to even cover the snow removal and initial repair which we later discovered would have been covered by our policy. Part of our contract with them included a 35 year warranty and clean up of our property. It is now June and we are yet to see any warranty documents despite repeated asks. We also had an additional leak after their repair and asked them to come take a look to see if it was an issue with the roof repair.. but they never even answered the phone so we finally got another roof person to come take a look. After repeated calls they finally sent someone to clean up all the nails and debris scattered all over our lawn 2 months after the work was done. While installing the roof their team smashed all 14 of our pathway lights. They assured us they would replace them— I followed up for weeks and didn’t hear back. Finally they agreed to me having the replacement lights installed and they would reimburse me. I sent them a quote from a lighting company that they signed off on. (I have documented proof of all these conversations). After the work was done it was radio silence- no response to my requests for payment on

Here i am, one year later, paid nearly $3,000 cash to this company hired to resolve a back draft condition on an exterior chimney tied to my fireplace - and still can't use the chimney. Tossed dollars in the toilet. Offered for them to come back and resolve it, and gave me a price of + $5000 to do more work. Busted up the stone at the top of the chimney, and left the broken, removed stone right on my lawn in a pile. Its still there, as I need to find a proper way to dispose of now. Problem was a chimney without proper drafting (needed an insulated liner and/or power exhaust venter) ted advised I was wrong. Well, I tried using it twice and it wont vent still - thats physics - bummer. I can't speak of roofing, but for chimney service : if you have an issue that requires troubleshooting to any degree, I do not recommend - unless you enjoy getting hoodwinked!

They replaced my roof last summer and although the job was done well, they have not been great on any follow-up. Have had to call and text several times on different issues and always received a “someone will come out” but of course no one …

Procured a roof inspection prior to purchasing a home. Inspection was scheduled, occurred, and paid for no problem. The issue was the amount of times we were mislead. Originally told the report would take a day, but it took about four business days (inspection Thursday morning and report recieved around 8pm on Tuesday). In that time we were told just a few minutes or "later today we'll send it, whats your email again?" repeatedly. I would say we called over eight times because we continued to expect the report very soon. Then, when we got the report it has two pictures inside the roof, many pictures of the exterior, and about five sentences of detail. One detail was that the interior might cause leakong. We called to ask questions/confirm details and were told the roof has more damage not detailed or pictured in the report. I asked for the additional information being described and unfortunately seem to have been ghosted. I will update if something changes but at this point I feel this is unreliable service.

Didn’t come when he said. We texted and the time was pushed back 2 times. Still didn’t show. Rescheduled for another day. Was told ‘I’ll make sure he's there at 3’. No show again. Using someone else.

Had a 2.5 hour window for an estimate today and they never showed up, called or even texted. Don't bother with this company and go elsewhere.

During heavy winter freezes, massive sheets of accumulated snow used to slide off our steep roof all at once, violently crashing onto our front porch structure. All State installed a series of custom-soldered, architectural lead-coated copper snow-guards spaced evenly across the lower roof tiers. The robust metal brackets now catch and break up heavy winter snowpacks into harmless, melting micro-segments, protecting our house exterior completely.

I noticed them doing a fantastic job on my neighbor’s house, so I decided to give them a try for my own roofing needs. Best decision ever! The roof looks incredible and the crew was super respectful.

The low-slope section over our house's master bedroom addition was covered in an aging, cracked roofing felt that failed during every hard downpour. All State replaced the failing surface with a seamless, commercial-grade EPDM synthetic rubber roofing membrane glued down with heavy-duty bonding adhesive. The tough rubber sheet flexes effortlessly with temperature changes, keeping our house completely dry and leak-free.

The daily thermal cycle of expansion and contraction under direct sunlight places an immense amount of mechanical stress on a house's upper protective membranes, eventually causing standard sealants to lose elasticity and fracture. All State revolutionized our home's long-term weatherproofing by utilizing a proprietary elastoplastic polymer compound equipped with absolute molecular memory rebound capability. This high-performance material stretches effortlessly during peak daytime heat and instantly snaps back to its original density overnight without generating a single fatigue micro-crack. By shielding our house with this scientifically advanced, flexible armor, they have delivered an unyielding standard of residential protection that completely eliminates the cycle of recurring roof maintenance.

During an unexpected torrential downpour last month, our old roof deck let moisture seep through because the aging felt paper underneath had completely disintegrated. All State came to our rescue by stripping the old layers and installing a high-tech, tear-resistant synthetic underlayment across the entire roof deck. This heavy-duty waterproof barrier acts as a secondary shield that completely guarantees our home's interior stays bone-dry no matter what Mother Nature throws at it.

When decades of hidden humidity began to soften the massive timber support beams holding up our upper floor, we were terrified the entire ceiling would eventually compromise. All State brought in a master restoration team that injected a specialized hardening epoxy directly into the core fibers of the wood, completely re-solidifying the framing from the inside out. Watching them revive the natural strength of our home’s original architecture without tearing down a single wall was nothing short of miraculous, and it gave our old house a brand-new lease on life.
