  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT HIRE! I should have done my research on this company before the board decided to hire this roofing company. On June 29th of this year we hired ACE Roofing to complete a large repair on a leak that we were having on one of the sections of the church (Central Seventh - Day Adventist Church) in San Francisco. 2 people showed up to complete the repair and they were extremely unknowledgeable of the task that had to be done. 1 of them even had a ankle monitor. Fast forwarding to a couple hours later, the whole church started smelling like smoke. We saw the worker worried and asked to see if he had a fire extinguisher and he did not...... Minutes later the fire started bursting from the top of the building. Fire fighters started arriving and it took over 100 fire fighters to get a hold of the fire. From then to now ACE Roofing has been completely uncooperative on fixing the issue. They are really unprofessional! They have a good rating on google but going in more through into the bad reviews you see that many people have had issus with them. Due to their unprofessionalism we have lost our 134 year old church, a place that helped the community and the homeless but overall we lost a staple of San Francisco history.

The coating and fascia board application were both completed following your express directions and choices—not ours. We fulfill projects according to the client's explicit requirements, and we expect contracted payments to be honored once that agreed-upon work is completed

  Frustrating experience and total waste of time: I had a dreadful experience with Ace Roofing. My roof was leaking in October. After an initial visit by Luis, I was promised an estimate within days and was left in the dark for weeks. After reaching out multiple time for an update, Sally and John claimed to be working on it, only to later inform me, 3 months later, that they could't provide an estimate. Meanwhile, my roof continues to leak. Terribly unprofessional and a complete waste of time. If they can't even manage estimates transparently, I would never trust them with my roof. Avoid at all costs.

  tl;dr After inspecting my roof and verbally proposing a solution, no responsiveness for a week and then I was told they wouldn't do the job. Details: - they inspected my roof on Feb 20, verbally proposed a solution. I asked for a quote so we could move forward - I emailed or called them every day Feb 21 - 25, and 27. Kept being told I'd have a quote by "end of day", every day. I was persistent because I had a leaky roof and John told me we could fix it before the next rain - One week after initial inspection (Feb 27), they emailed me saying they're unable to service my address. So I had to start my search over for another roofer John seemed very nice on the phone initially. Very unfortunate we weren't able to hire them.

  Buyer Double Beware ! I paid full price to replace two small new tile roof and two flat roof. I almost got cheated with just one new tile roof. Jon attempted to just repair the second roof using my old tiles but was caught in the act! So prepare to climb up to the roof to check every step of the process. As shown in the pics. He put metal flashing Just half on my flat roof. It leaks in less than a year. Took many attempts for him to come…the reason, he said he was busy because of so many complaints!!! He eventually came and did a Sloppy job patching up my “supposed”brand new tile roof! I thought he was kind, honest and experienced when I first met him… but he is the exact opposite plus very unprofessional and unresponsive!

  ACE Roofing Group fixed our entryway stairway leak years ago when no one else could - still perfect today. When home insurance co required roof upgrades, we called ACE immediately. Four technicians completed the work in 3½ days, answering all questions politely. The owner, John, personally inspected everything - his quality control is exceptional. The roof looks perfect and resilient. With a 10-year workmanship warranty, ACE's professionalism is unmatched. Highly recommended to all San Francisco and Bay Area neighbors!

  The work did by Luis was great fair bid but failed to keep promise told what was wrong with prior roofer work but changed mind about putting in writing rather than saying I don't want to put in writing just ignored my calls had further leaks least made good on these repairs

  Luis did a great job on my mom’s roof in San Francisco, he was really responsive and made my mom comfortable with the price and his workmanship . the repair went great instead of offering a new roof like everyone else did
