  We had our entire roof replaced by Above the Roof Roofing in 2021. It was a large roof but the crew did a great job in very hot weather conditions. Raymond was great to deal with and very responsive and I would not hesitate to hire his company again. June 2026 update - So although I originally gave 5 stars, I am revising to 2 stars. Although we were pleased with initial installation 6 years ago, this winter we had a few cap shingles blow off. No warranty for this. I called Raymond and one of his crew came over and fixed the issue (he was here approximately 15 minutes). The charge was $375 which I found excessive given the small amount of time and materials. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the owner and gave him the opportunity to reduce the charge but he wouldn't budge so honestly I feel a bit ripped off. In my business I would have worked to reach a negotiated fee that worked for both parties but that was not the case here.

  i;m sorry you feel this was scott but here;s the breakdown we had to buy the materials i had to pay the hst on $375.00 i had to pay my roofer to do the repair so when it was all done i made $165.00 for the business and you feel that;s to much after the excellent job you received for the entire roof and we where right there to do the repair we didn;t put you off but that doesn;t mean nothing to you right.

  I;M SITTING HERE READING TRACEY;S REVIEW ON ME AND I APPRECIATE WHAT TRACY IS SAYING ABOUT ME BUT I WISH SHE WOULD HAVE LEFT MY WIFE OUT OF IT. SHE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WORK I FEEL IT;S A BIT TACKY. I JUST WISH AFTER TRACY SAYING THESE GOOD THINGS ABOUT ME TRACY WOULD HAVE CALLED ME INSTEAD OF POSTING THESE ISSUES TO HURT ME. IF THESE WHERE ISSUES IN LINE WITH OUR CONTRACT WITH TRACY I WOULD HAVE TAKEN CARE OF THESE ISSUES FREE OF COST NO PROBLEM.WE WILL BE IN BUSSINESS 24 YEARS THIS YEAR AND HAVE NEVER RIPPED ANYONE OFF IN ANY WAY AS YOU CAN SEE FROM OUR OTHER REVIEWS.I ONLY STARTED POSTING REVIEWS THIS SUMMER AND I BELIEVE TRACY HAS BEEN TROLLING ME AND JUST WAITING TO HURT ME WHEN ALL THAT HAD TO BE DONE WAS CALL ME.OH WELL IT IS WHAT IT IS BUT THERE IS NO COMPANY OUT THERE WHO HASN;T HAD AN ISSUE AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER.THERE WAS A CREW I TRIED FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND I LET THEM GO YEARS AGO.I ONLY HAVE THE GUYS WHO HAVE WORKED FOR ME FOR 10 TO 15 YEARS NOW AND HAVE AND WILL NOT HIRE ANY OTHER CREWS NO MATTER HOW BUSY I GET.

  Don’t go with Ray. Not a professional install or follow through. No accountability to his product. And cheap incorrect patch jobs when the poor install inevitable failed. Why? My house had a metal roof installed by Ray early 2014. It’s been leaking since day 1 according to my neighbours, but we purchased the house in 2019. I first called Ray in 2020 and he made a visit to seal the leak, and again in 2021. Both times he was pleasant, but clearly was not happy to be here and gave the vibe it was a waste of his time. Most recently I called him in 2022 when it began leaking again, asked him how much it would cost for an actual repair- and he cussed me out saying he’d never come back and that the roof will always be an issue. We finally bite the bullet and had the ENTIRE roof replaced this month. The new guys were flabbergasted by the poor install. 80% of the screws were floating and not anchored into the roof, the flashing was all wrong, no overhang. And they were super confused about the tar that Ray used for his numerous patch jobs. Tar shouldn’t be on metal roofs, who knew? Not me, and not Ray apparently. At this point, we’ve contacted him numerous times and he knows about the problem and his poor job. He just doesn’t care. He got his money and now we’re out the cost and inconvenience of a second metal roof. I’ve been back and forth if I should post this because Ray is a small business owner, but in good conscience I need to share my story for potential customers.

  this will be 7 times i;ve reached out mr. fahie. he is saying i did this roof in 2014 .but the contract would not have been with him but for the previous home owner the home in which he purchased in 2019.i have been asking him to send me a copy of the contract as i do not know this job and neither do any of my men. so until i see a copy of the contract we feel this is just another roofing company or a bogus review to hurt my bussiness all i;m asking for is proof we did this roof. wouldn;t you.i;ve talked to a lot of people and bogus reviews are happening all the time now. so mr fahie send me a copy of the contract or take down your review

  I called to get a quote on a new roof for a house + secondary building. So a pretty big job. Nobody answers the phone when I call but they call back right away. I tell him about the job and he says "not interested" then click, hangs up. Pretty rude, seems like a lot of money to throw away. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. Edit to reply to owners response: maybe don't be so rude then. I called many roofing companies for quotes, if they were very busy they told me that they were booking in September+ and left it up to me if I wanted to wait. None of them said "not interested" then hung up. I would never have left a negative review if you didn't blow off the job and hang up on me

  My experience with Above the Rest was excellent. I got a detailed quote and the work was described very well. The crew was professional and hardworking. Even my neighbour commented on how great the crew was! Thank you Raymond.

  In 2023, I contacted the company for a quote on re-doing the roof. I have a 2 storey house and had wanted to have the skylights replaced, as well the wood facia upgraded to synthetic or covered to eliminate the requirement for painting. Raymond provided clear explanations and scheduled the progress of the work as I wanted to re-stain some siding areas before the new shingles were installed. I found the work and materials to be of quality. His willingness to tackle other work, in addition to replacing roof shingles, made the process smooth. I highly recommend the company particularly if other work to your house is required.

  I recently had my entire roof shingled by Above The Rest roofing, and I’m very happy with the results. The guys who did the job were extremely friendly and easy to talk to. They worked hard, did a fantastic job on the roof, and made sure everything was cleaned up perfectly afterward. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality roofing work and great service.

  We had our roof replaced about 7 years ago by Raymond and his team and we have had no issues. Raymond's team were very professional, friendly and did an amazing job of cleaning up the grounds once the job was complete. Raymond was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain the product and did not push to make a sale.

  Top notch company, had my roof redone about 4 to 5 years ago. After several wind storms and a couple hurricanes, have not had any issues or lost a shingle. These folks showed up as scheduled and made short work of the job, owner (Raymond) came by a few days later and even went up on the roof himself to inspect the job that his guys had done. And they came back several years later to check if everything was still satisfactory! Very happy with the service and work I received from Above The Rest Roofing! Dennis P.

  I am very satisfied with my new metal panel roof. The installation was completed in one day. My home is a 60x24 feet bungalow. The two guys doing the work were very professional and friendly. At the end of the day all garbage was removed.
