  If i could give them zero stars i would. They have absolutely no capability of dealing with insurance. They pay for reviews as well. Theres a lot of contractors out there. Use someone else.

  Having worked with Ken before, it was a no-brainer to buy a new front door as well. He went through all of the potential options with us and gave us realistic choices for our style of house. He never tried to sell us something we didn't need. Any questions were promptly answered. Installation went smoothly and it looks great!

  I recently bought a fixer upper house in Bloomington IL. Knowing the house would need a new roof, I was dreading the process of getting quotes, scheduling contractors, and getting the bill That was until my home inspector recommended Diego from Zag's Roofing. Diego was fantastic, completing a thorough inspection with detailed pictures - highlighting pre-existing hail damage - creating a reasonable quote, scheduling the work. Diego's team was fantastic, arriving at 7 AM on Day One, and working until almost 9 PM. When a surprise occured (almost all of the plywood sheets were compromised) Diego helped negotiate a lower cost for the plywood sheets. His team even stayed three hours late on Day Two to clean up - leaving the yard in a cleaner state than when they arrived! Highly recommend Zag's. I'm extremely grateful to Diego, and look forward to working with him again on our next project!

  I highly recommend Ken Polikov for any exterior project. Ken helped us plan an exterior facelift of our 1960s colonial, which included capping our columns, installing a new front door, and replacing our windows and shutters. He provided several thoughtful options and even suggested a phased approach to help keep the project within our budget. Ken was communicative throughout the process, and the final results exceeded our expectations. I look forward to working with him again in the future.

  I interviewed a few contractors before choosing Zags, and I'm really glad I did. From day one, Ken treated this like a consultation, not a sales pitch. He walked the property with me, explained what I actually needed vs. what could wait, and gave me a clear plan with transparent pricing—no vague estimates or surprise costs. The crew showed up exactly when promised, protected everything, and cleaned up completely each day. I never had to chase anyone down for updates—Ken and his team communicated proactively the whole way through. Our home looks incredible, and it's already more comfortable inside. But honestly, the best part was how stress-free the whole process was.
