RUN AWAY. fist job went fine. Charged me for 3 days but spent 1.5. The second, simply replacing 2 bathroom cabinets and painting was F.U.B.A.R. Insisted on 50% down to put me in the que, took 2 months to start, worked 2 days spreading curtains, tools, building materials, bed, furniture over the ENTIRE 1st floor including kitchen, and living room then LEFT WITHOUT FINISHING A SECOND TIME FOR 6 WEEKS. Returned for 3 days after my constant calls THEN LEFT AGAIN FOR 4 WEEKS. When I refused to pay the balance because of shotty finish work, the sub and the owner got pissy. After the second refusal to accept what was called complete work and the assurances from the owner that they inspected personally at some late time of night, I involved my attorney. The sub showed up on a major holiday, full of attitude to fix the incomplete work.

Hello Kermit, I'm sorry that you had somewhat of a bad experience with us back in 2023! We did realize that our subcontractor- who no longer works for us- did not do his best work on that job and we made every effort to make everything right for you. At the end you were satisfied and you paid the balance on our invoice. Not to mention, that particular job was the 3rd contract you signed with us so we must have done great work at one point for you to hire us again and again. I'm not sure why you would be posting this now, 1-1/2 years later, but I do hope you have a great day!

They charged me $75 for an estimate and I had to text them 3 weeks later to get one. The one that they did finally send was not complete for the work I wanted done. I texted back asking for more information and got no response.

I do see that our guy went to your appt on Friday the 5th at 5:00 pm. These guys do actually work during the week on their current jobs so they do try to get to the paperwork as soon as they can. And I do my best to follow up with them so that we can get you an estimate in a timely manner. I apologize for getting your estimate to you 2 days past 2 weeks. When you didn't get the estimate due to some unknown reason, I resent it to a work email you provided. I also used my personal cell to send it as well. You texted me with one question and I informed you that I would verify the info and get back to you. Your response was "no problem." As I said previously mentioned, our guys are physically working on other jobs so I was not able to verify the specific info that same day. Today is Monday and I get a text from you requesting a refund because you "paid $75 for an estimate." Our travel rates are clearly listed on our website. We charge these rates to cover travel time to and from the location, time spent at the location and fuel; not for the estimate itself. I hope one of the other 3 contractors who came to your house is able to help you with your project.

VAS Contracting painted the outside of 2 houses, completed significant carpentry work on our porch, completed some sheetrock work and installed a new metal roof. They did excellent work, completed the work on time and cleaned up the job site. We highly recommend VAS Contracting.

Met with VAS about finishing my attic. Was quoted a reasonable price. I requested for the job to be done before Christmas, and they were able to complete the project a day after Thanksgiving! Great communication throughout the process and a professional team. I will continue to use them for all future home projects!

VAS was a life saver. Was working on some renovations that I thought I could handle on my own. Was able to get the drywall hung but when I went to start taping and floating, I knew I was in over my head. I reached out to VAS and a few other general contractors to get quotes. Victor and Angela swung by the house that afternoon, evaluated what needed to be done, and then offered up a fair quote and I agreed. Very easy and friendly process. Victor, Pablo, and Rick started the work and absolutely knocked it all out of the park. They were very professional and helpful, and I was very satisfied with their work once they were completed. I would indeed recommend them to friends and family in need of general contractor work, and am actually hiring them again this week for another project I am wanting to get knocked out. 5/5 would and will use again.
