Waiting more than 2 weeks for an appointmen / assessment / estimate of my roof recieved a message the night before canceling the appointment with no explanation or rescheduling . Wasted my time , poor customer service , poor comunication skills . I will not use this contractor.

We take pride in the service we offer, and while we respect all feedback, it’s important to set the record straight here. Your initial consultation was cancelled due to an unforeseen medical emergency — something we communicated clearly. Within 24 hours, we followed up with a rough estimate and offered to reschedule your in-home assessment so you wouldn’t be left waiting. That offer still stands. To call that “poor communication” or “wasted time” is simply untrue. We made every effort to accommodate you quickly and transparently, despite being in peak season. Our company is built on referrals and over 45+ 5-star reviews — many of which specifically praise our responsiveness, professionalism, and communication. We treat every homeowner with respect and take our reputation seriously. We’re disappointed you chose to misrepresent the situation, but we remain focused on serving the many clients who trust us and value honest, respectful dialogue. — The Valley Metal Roofing Team

Never showed up. Never got an e mail as promised. No explanations.

  Reply from the business

Hi Rick, We apologize for the misunderstanding. Our records show that one of our representatives tried to call you to confirm your appointment on January 4th at 2:51pm. As per our policy, if we cannot contact the homeowner before the appointment we will not send one of our sales consultants out. No email was sent out because no email was provided when we received your initial interests online. If you are still interested in receiving a metal roofing quote and complimentary roof inspection please reach out. We'd be happy to help. Kind Regards The Valley Metal Roofing Team

Pascal, thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review, we truly appreciate it. It was a pleasure working with you from the initial consultation through to completion. We’re glad the communication and overall experience stood out, as that’s something we take a lot of pride in. Yvon always aims to provide practical, long-term solutions, so it’s great to hear his recommendations helped align the project with your goals and budget. You’re absolutely right, choosing metal is about making this the last roof you have to worry about, and we’re proud to have been part of that decision. We also really appreciate the kind words about our crew. Having a dedicated, full-time in-house team is a big part of how we ensure consistent quality and attention to detail on every project, and I’ll be sure to pass this along to them. Thank you as well for recommending Precision Gutters, they’re a great partner of ours and we’re glad you had a positive experience there as well. We appreciate your trust in us, Pascal. Valley Metal roofing replaced my asphalt shingles with a standing seam metal roof. It was done in December, in the rain (and I mean RAIN) and the wind, crazy wind, with not a drop of water inside the house. It was quick clean and on-budget. …

Thank you for the great review, Matt, we really appreciate it. December weather can definitely put a roof to the test, so hearing that everything stayed completely dry inside the home, even with the rain and wind, is exactly what we aim for. That speaks to the planning, execution, and attention to detail Yvon and the crew bring to every standing seam installation. We’re glad the project was quick, clean, and on budget, and even happier to hear how much you love the finished roof. And you’re not wrong, a great metal roof does have a way of setting a new standard for the rest of the house 😄 Thanks again for trusting Valley Metal Roofing. It was a pleasure working on your home.
