Made an appointment with the actual owner for a roof inspection and he never showed up or called. He lives a few houses away and I went to his house and even though I could hear them inside they wouldn't answer the door. I called the phone …

Thank you for your feedback. We'd like to respond respectfully and add some context. Our conversation was about whether we could get your solar company to pay for the roof work, and we explained honestly that this isn't something any contractor can force a third party to do. It became clear there was no roofing work for us to complete, and you had already consulted several other contractors. We'd also gently note that our meeting wasn't a scheduled appointment. We take integrity seriously and always aim to give straight answers, even when they aren't the answer someone is hoping for. We genuinely wish you the best in reaching a resolution with your solar provider.

When i spoke with them about a roof inspection/estimate and what was needed, they were gladly able to come out the following week. Then the day before the inspection/estimate they decided to back out even though they knew what was expected. Unprofessional and unreliable, do not go to them if you are looking for professionalism. Update: The owners response justifies my review. If this was the case, the phone call should have been transparent the day of the first phone call, not the day before the appointment.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry we weren’t able to assist you with your situation. As I explained during our conversation, The Arizona Roofer is not a fire or smoke restoration company, and we are not licensed to assess fire‑related structural damage or provide cost evaluations for that type of loss. When you mentioned the damage was caused by a fire, I let you know that this falls under restoration work, not roofing, and I offered to refer you to a qualified restoration contractor who specializes in that type of assessment. That offer still stands — I’m happy to share their contact information if you’d like it. Our goal is always to help homeowners get the right solution, even if that means referring them to another professional.

Arranged an appointment for an estimate. Failed to show up with no communication on exact times, just 'in the afternoon'. Got an email the following day saying they were stuck on a job until 5pm. Would have been nice to have known sooner. We had someone waiting at home all day for nothing.

Can't vouch for their work, but they were supposed to show up for an estimate and never showed. Never called or anything, just never showed up. Had a person waiting at the house for them for nothing.

Very rude. If only I could give -5 stars I would do it in a heartbeat.

Henry and his crew did a great job! He addressed every concern I had and when he wasn't available, his partner Eric was right there. You don't need fancy commercials to find a good roofer. These men are as good as they get.

Due to a recent event at our home, Henry came over to initially give us an estimate. It turned out the work needed to be done was not part of what he was licensed to do. For that work, he did recommend a company he felt could do it and they have given us an estimate for it. However in reviewing the issue, he did see some other minor work that he could do for us. We arranged for him to do that work for which he came over and finished it up very quickly. Henry is great at analyzing work to be done, he is honest in what he can or cannot do and his work is very good. I would recommend him to anyone who needs some work done from minor to major as it pertains to any roof related issues. Update on roof work done recently by The Arizona Roofer 04072026: We recently had our roof replaced by The Arizona Roofer due to obvious wear and tear over the years and also some basic storm damage from last year. The crew that worked on the roof were friendly, courteous and paid attention to detail not only in how they replaced the roof but also in cleaning up our property each day after they were finished with work for the day on the roof. We appreciated all the hard work that was done to ensure the roof replacement was done as well as any other repairs as needed to the underlying boards on top of the house that may have been damaged over the years including during any storms. We would recommend The Arizona Roofer (Henry Staggs) to anyone that is in need of roof repair or replacement.

We had hail damage on our roof and part of the exterior of our house. Henry and his crew did an amazing job on the roof and even fixed the two small areas on the front of the house that had been damaged as well. He definitely went above and beyond! I definitely recommend him!

Thanks so much, Wendy—I'm really glad we could help with the Arizona Monsoon hail damage and get both your roof and those small exterior spots taken care of. We appreciate the recommendation and are always here if you ever need a storm damage roof inspection or emergency roof repair after the next Monsoon.

I've worked with The Arizona Roofer on several foam projects now and have a couple more already scheduled. Henry is great at communication and scheduling, Eric is knowledgeable in the field, and both have been a pleasure to work with.

A fresh white coating on a flat commercial roof isn't just about looks. That reflective surface pushes back against Arizona heat, which means real cooling cost reduction for your building all summer long. Here in the Phoenix area, flat roofs take a beating from blazing sun and then get hammered by monsoon storms. A quality roof coating adds a waterproof layer that helps prevent foam roof pooling water and roof leaks after heavy rain. It's one of the smartest forms of preventative roof maintenance a property owner can invest in. Our commercial roofing team handles: 👉 Energy-efficient roof coatings and roof restoration 👉 Commercial flat roofing repairs and re-roofing 👉 Storm damage inspections and same-day roof assessments ⛈️ The Arizona Roofer is a family-owned Arizona roofing company with 40+ years experience, licensed and insured, and Directorii-certified. We help commercial property owners from the East Valley to Tucson stay monsoon-ready with roofing systems built for this climate. Is your building's flat roof ready for the next round of Arizona monsoon storms?
