The final work I would give a 4.5. However communication and project management would be zero stars. I would get a call that work would start, no one would show up, no call. Once work started, same issue, work would start then no one would return for weeks. I had to point out that only one side of my garage siding was done when the whole thing needed done, and siding was different colors. When I called for a status, sometimes someone would show up to do part of it, but the person didn’t speak English and so could not update me on what was going on. Project manager would not answer calls or return messages. At one point there was a 2x2 hole in the cupola on my garage that was left open and no one returned for two weeks to fix, then only when I called multiple times to complain. A piece of tyvek was put over it which blew off, and I had to call back again. All the while I having to clean up water that is coming in when it rains. No final walk through was ever done. This was siding on house and detached garage, gutters, 2 windows and French doors.

Rene, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you were pleased with the quality of the completed work, but we’re disappointed that the communication throughout the project did not meet your expectations. This was a multi-part project involving siding, gutters, windows, and doors on both the home and detached garage, and a project timeline was provided and discussed along the way. There were also times when our team had difficulty reaching you and coordinating access and scheduling, which contributed to some of the delays. That said, we recognize that there were times when our communication should have been better, particularly when schedules changed or additional work remained to be completed. We also take your concerns regarding the temporary opening in the cupola and the lack of a final walkthrough seriously. Those are areas where we could have handled the process better. After more than 80 years in business, we know that the customer experience involves more than the quality of the finished product. Clear and consistent communication matters too, and we will use your feedback to improve how we manage and communicate throughout future projects.

One star is pushing it. Scheduled windows, doors, and gutters. All was perfect until we meet the scheduling department or lack their of. No calls ... just installers showing up demanding I open the house for them to start while I am at work. Not gonna fly with me. So I take the following week off from work for this project to start. Was told I have the best installer they have coming out and it would be a week to finish no problems. Great lets do this. Well 4 weeks later we are still trying to wrap this up. Would have been done in the week that was quoted but unfortunately the "best installer" only works the hours of 11am-2pm daily because he has to travel. Now I am trying to get a door handle that is faulty replaced and I am getting the run around again. The only good thing that has come from this adventure is the sales man is a good guy. Just works for a bone head company IMO. Great price and product just terrible installation and scheduling departments.

The initial contact was the first of February with the estimate visit on 2/4/25. There was discussion regarding the existing covers that were installed with a slant for water runoff and had damaged metal edges which sealed the covers to the concrete wells which was my biggest concern! Knowing the two wells were a custom size, measurements were taken. The estimate came back with a total of $4726.62. I did not question the estimate nor did I ask for installation details which was my mistake assuming the new covers would be installed like the originals. I signed the contract and gave a check for $2400. On March 21 (6 wks. later) the new covers were installed much to my immediate dissatisfaction! Installers suggested I call their supervisor who came to the job site. #1 The covers were installed flat - with no slant. #2 One of the covers did not have a hinge (it could not be lifted from the inside or outside). #3 Neither cover was sealed to the edge of the window well leaving a space of 1.25 inches all the way around. #4 The sealant from the original covers remains on the white brick of the house. I was assured they would make things right until I was satisfied. I did not hear from them for 3 months. No conversation of how my concerns would be addressed until the day of the scheduled appointment on June 16th. On this date a new cover was installed with a hinge and a foam adhesive strip was sealed from underneath the plexiglass edge of both covers. Now I have received an invoice for the balance of $2,326.62. #1 The covers form condensation on the inside from moisture. #2 Weeds and spider webs are growing inside the wells. #3 The adhesive foam strips have come away from the warped plexiglass allowing debris to collected inside. #4 You must remove a small pin from the inside in order to lift the cover! To be continued !!

I told the sales rep during his visit that I went with a larger company specifically to minimize delays. The joke was on me. After a great deal of frustration and large down payment it was 4 months to get to this less than one day project. Never again!

This review comes as a complete surprise to our team. On July 5th, you contacted us with this message online: "I have several projects, but the most important involves the 1.5-car garage. The rafters are twisting because not enough cross beams were used. I'd like an opinion on what it would take to fix before it collapses." Then, on July 8th, you inquired with this: "Cross beams in a 1.5-car garage; may also discuss quite a few other projects she plans to have done in the future." On July 15th, you had a new metal roof put on your garage by another company, despite signing a contract with us on July 8th. The company you hired did not remove the two layers of shingles before installing the new roof, which is a code violation. On July 15th, you also mentioned wanting to possibly replace your kitchen cabinets. We scheduled you for 9/30, which you agreed to. On 9/13, you called to inform us you needed to be present for a family member's surgery on 10/02 and asked how long the work would take to complete. You requested to have the job rescheduled to 10/08, which we accommodated. Your job was completed on 10/09, and you expressed to our project manager, Adam Shryock, that you were very happy with the work. Last week, you mentioned you would mail the check for the repair. All of our communications were documented in a contract, and you were kept informed every step of the way. Given your positive feedback, we’re uncertain why you would leave a one-star review after telling our project manager you were "very happy." Please keep in mind that our work is backed by a workmanship guarantee, and we fully stand by it. If you feel you were treated unfairly in any way, please give us a call. We will work towards your satisfaction always.

We had an absolutely terrible time working with Suttons on new windows, siding, facia, gutters, exterior doors, and soffit. Our project was very large and we never felt prioritized by the company even when they were working on it. They told us 12 weeks turn around time. We put a deposit down in February and our project wasn't complete until September. Some of the workers at our house were rude, mocked me when my husband was around, and trampled many plants outside. The finished product is fine, but I will never work with this company again. Absolutely terrible customer service. You know it's really bad if I took the time to write a review. Edit to add : Thank you for the response below; however, it’s ultimately still discouraging that the nicest communication we received through this entire process is now on a public forum. The credit is appreciated but was ultimately the bare minimum.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. First and foremost, we want to acknowledge that you have legitimate concerns, particularly about the delays in your project. We take full responsibility for not meeting the expected timeline, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration this caused. We understand how important it is to feel prioritized, especially with such a large project, and we regret that you didn’t feel that way throughout the process. Regarding the personal interactions you mentioned, we want to assure you that we do not tolerate disrespectful behavior at any level. We will be reviewing this matter with the staff members involved to ensure it never happens again. On a positive note, we’re glad that your house looks great. Our work is backed by a workmanship guarantee in addition to the manufacturer's warranties on all products installed, so if you or your family ever need anything, we are always here to support you. We also hope you appreciated the credit offered on your bill as part of our effort to make things right. Thank you again for bringing these issues to our attention, and we truly hope we can regain your trust in the future.

Over the years I’ve had work done by Suttons. Most recently I had the garage door frame replaced due to termite damage, a roof torn off and replaced due to leaks and drywall repair. I have only good things to say about the team at Suttons. Their office responds quickly to any communications and in a professional manner. The work ethic is exceptional as well as the quality of work. They arrive when they say, focus on the job, and properly clean up in an 8 hour timeframe. Having said that, there are times when things don’t go as they should such as undiscovered roof leaks. Suttons swooped in and replaced about a third of my roof immediately, eliminating any leaks. Not only did they replace the roof, they came in and repaired the ceiling damage at no cost. A $4000 job. The damage was there prior to new roof (the reason for the new roof) but because the ceiling still leaked and caused further damage Suttons took it upon themselves to do the repair. Kudos to Drew, Betty and Kyle for a job well done. Special shout out to Kyle for coming back to install my kitchen light…twice after the ceiling repair since I put it together wrong. Most important kudos to Rich! He managed the roof repair in a professional and gracious manner with no push back. Quality of work is important, but what is just as important is owning your work and standing by it which Suttons does. Suttons may cost a little bit more but what you get in return is a solid guarantee of a job well done. I appreciate everyone that came together to remedy the project and I look forward to doing more work with Suttons and especially with Rich. Next I plan to have my master bath remodeled….I will keep you posted.
