  I give this company 0 stars. Had a guy come and give me a quote and said they would start the work in June. It is now July 24th. I had called the company near the end of June and to this day nobody has called me back. Needless to say I have gone with another company that communicates with their customers. This company is horrible for communicating with their customers. DO NOT recommend this company at all. They will leave you hanging and have you thinking they're going to do the work and then ghost you.

  What an incredibly unprofessional company. Aside from shoddy work, and questionable safety, they are completely disrespectful of the area they work in. Damaging neighbours yards, leaving equipment blocking access to neighbours driveways and walkways, piling dirt haphazardly as to block far more area than needed and causing traffic issues.

  I had foundation work done on my home. One pile was in my unfinished basement, rather than remove extra gravel it was swept into my drain. I have lived in my home for 35 years basement was always dry. Once Spring arrived my basement flooded, I am still dealing with dampness in my basement. Rotorooter told me about the gravel that causes the flood.

  Would not recommend Sturgeon Construction for foundation work. We hired the company for basement waterproofing. Part of the job involved cementing a crack along 1 foot of the wall where the footing had dropped. Work was completed on June 27. On July 1 we had a large rain storm. Pieces of cement washed into the basement along with a lot of water. We have been trying to have this rectified for 2 months. It seems clear that the cement failed, whether from use of the wrong product or a lack of proper curing. We would like that section of the wall re-dug and the cement redone. We have had nothing but run arounds. We have witnessed poor communication between the office and the managers and between the managers and the laborers. We have now been advised that the only way they will open up this area of wall is if we pay for the excavation of 13 feet at a cost of almost 50% of the original job. Hire this company at your own risk!

  They failed to show for multiple appointments. When we'd call after each missed appointment, the lady who answers the phone tried to gaslight us into thinking the appointments were for other times/days. They did this 3 times.

  Brett and his team did an amazing job! The team was on time, completed the work exactly as promised, and left the yard clean and tidy when they were finished. Highly recommended!

  We had a great experience with Sturgeon for a basement waterproofing job in our house. From the very beginning, they were clear and upfront about the estimates and the scope of work to be performed. The crew was friendly and professional, and they completed the job within the timeframe they promised. They also left the house spotless, cleaning up all the mess and debris and hauling it away themselves.

  Everything is perfect, from communication, on time, services, prices, friendly staff and even Brett as well. We’re very happy to work with them. Don’t know about the quality yet since we just did them, but is lifetime warranty so it should be good.

  I am very happy with the work that Sturgeon did for us. I received a timely quotation and the scope of work was clearly identified. The work started and completed on time. All of the staff were friendly, hard working, respectful and courteous. My impression is that Sturgeon is a well run organization.

  We had Sturgeon construction do the complete exterior of our house for foundation waterproofing recently. The work was done professionally, the staff were respectful and professional. They cleaned up after themselves daily and put our yard back together in a very reasonable amount of time. The cost was very competitive. They showed up despite the terrible weather they had.

  Our house started flooding a couple weeks before listing our house on sale. I called sturgeon construction and told them of the urgency in getting our foundation fixed. They came the following week, before the ground was fully thawed and dug out the foundation by shovel. Top of the line guys and did a great job.
