Called them about a vent leaking the other year, Elijah said he couldn't fix it and a plumber would have to do, but then show me on video call from the roof of the vents, he wanted to charge me $900 to silicone them. (No other materials despite their claim and none of the vents they wanted to "fix" are leaking. Two other roofers said they look fine.) I said no and he was mad he had opened the silicone already. I said I'll pay for your $15 tube but he just left angry. I then had another roofing company come by to fix the ACTUAL leak I called about, and they did so instantly for $100 and said that he was trying to scam me with that other charge. Would not ever do business with them. Be careful.

Hi Christine, I’m very sorry to hear you felt disappointed with your experience. Our goal is always to be transparent and fair with every customer. The estimate you received was based on the materials and labor needed to properly seal multiple vents, not just a quick patch. We just want to clarify that our team did not complete any work on your roof — we only provided an estimate. We never intend to overcharge or mislead anyone, and we encourage all clients to get multiple opinions before deciding on roof work. At Sealed Tight Roofing, we take a lot of pride in being one of the top-rated roofing companies in the area and always strive to offer honest pricing and quality service. If you’d like to discuss this further or review the estimate details, please reach out to us directly at SealedTightRoofingInc@gmail.com or (630) 631-7496. We’d be happy to clear up any misunderstanding and make things right.

Elijah and his team did a full roof replacement on my house. Elijah was phenomenal with his attention to detail and communication. His team amazingly completed the roof replacement in one day and did an excellent job. They were meticulous about cleaning afterwards and Elijah even came back the next day to double check on the cleaning and to see if we were happy. The pricing was very competitive and Elijah was great about explaining the details of the work. I was extremely impressed with Sealed Tight Roofing and highly recommend them based on our experience.

Elijah and his crew quickly responded to my request for help clearing an ice jam on my roof that had trigged a leak in my living room. While they were here, we negotiated additional work removing all the ice and snow buildup on the entire roof, including putting approximately 100 pounds of ice melt up there to help speed up the thawing of my frozen gutters. Leak is now fixed and the killer icicles have been removed. Great work.

Elijah and his crew came out on a Sunday night in 4 degree weather to clear off snow from my roof because we had a major leak. His crew worked for several hours in the blistering cold and got the snow removed so that they could come back and do the repair. Very thankful for them and their promptness on such short notice on a weekend!
