  Do not use. Complaint pending with CA Contractors State Licensing Board, BBB, and the City of Poway Chamber of Commerce. As RT Roofing’s President, Robert Tomeoni, completed an on-site estimate. During an informal telephone review he quoted a half days worth of work for multiple cracked tiles, slips, and annual maintenance repair. The formal contract provided by RT Roofing contract did not include a duration of work or itemized costs. Two individuals arrived on-site. A total of 25 minutes was spent at the home with 7 minutes of actual roof time between two large, multi-tiered roofs. This equaled $1500. The estimated work was not completed to a workman like standard as verified by multiple home security videos, pre/post work picture comparison, and a visual inspection of several tiles with 3-4 inches cracks / chips. A phone call with Robert was scheduled to voice concerns that the agreed upon work could not have physically occurred within the documented timeline. Robert informed me that a half days worth of work could be as little as 4-7 minutes to 4 hours in duration as along as the work was completed. Robert was asked to return on-site to verify in-person as he did not complete the work himself or visually inspect it. During the re-inspect, Robert did take the time to diligently examine the roof. However, he stated the un-repaired tiles were not broken tiles. When asked to defined a broken tile, Robert answered a crack or a chip of 3-4 inches. When it was pointed out that the tiles met that threshold and that underlayment was showing he stated that that wasn’t part of the quote. When pressed with contractual language, he finally stated his team had missed the work. During Robert’s re-inspection he took several pictures of “replaced” tiles. The areas that Robert had identified where his team had conducted repairs were actually previous repairs, as documented via HD drone footage during a Jan 2024 home inspection.   Hello John, There are several inconsistencies in your review. Your original signed contract amount was $1880. This was our budget price for a list of minor items that you agreed on and signed the contract for. I have worked for a couple of large roofing companies and this price is very fair. The items were completed per contract. To pacify your complaint of you not "thinking" that we spent enough time on your roof, we provided a discount as a courtesy and lowered the amount to $1,500. Robert also went back out to assure you that our work was completed, per your request. This was also done as a courtesy to make you happy, and at no charge. It is correct that our contracts do not include duration of work. The contract did however specify the few items to be completed. Which were completed. In your review, you specified annual maintenance. This is incorrect. We did a few maintenance items but DID NOT DO ANNUAL MAINTENANCE ON YOUR ROOF. This is something that needs to be clarified. Please see your contract for items that were completed that are very clearly stated on your signed contract. Your roof is at the end of its life expectancy, and we did advise on that, and provided a price for a new roof. We will usually offer a warranty on section reroofs or repairs and sometimes on annual maintenance on roofs that are in good condition. This is not the case with your roof, because of its condition. Robert is a kind man that took his time to go to your home, and as you stated above: During the re-inspect, "Robert did take the time to diligently examine the roof." Robert initially provided you with a budget price, and then a discount to pacify your anger. He still went out after you threatened to call the police on us, calling him a liar, scammer and fraudulent. Robert while at your site also offered to do some additional work just to make you happy.   I set up an appointment with Robert to come to my house on Saturday at noon 4/11/20 and then at 4:21 I received an email not a phone call that he didn't realize it was a holiday weekend and could come on Wednesday. I initally responded to the email OK, but I called the office that closed at 4:30 on Friday. I didn't make appointments with other roofers, because he seemed to be excellent. I have a leaky roof and needed help right away, I am more than disappointed in RT Roofing.

  Called this company last week to schedule someone to come out for an estimate. They scheduled me for Monday. Nobody showed no phone call nothing. I called them and they said will have someone come by Tuesday and once again nobody showed or no phone call. Highly unprofessional! Will never recommend or call this company again! The owners response is a complete lie. They never called me about reschedule, I had to call them both times to see where they are. Never showed or never called like I said! I would never call you again as I find you guys liars and not trustworthy!

  Heidi the Woman that answers phone calls was very professional , but Robert would never come out to give me a estimate on Roofing Repairs, went on for 2 weeks, giving me excuses, broken truck, big job to finish,so I finally asked Heidi to have owner call me. Still no Call, if you don't want a small job ,say so upfront, don't let people hanging and waiting for return phone calls.

  Robert and his team came out very quickly after we contacted him, which was a lifesaver given it had just rained. They fixed the two leaks we had and identified another risk area with they also addressed. Great professional experience and we will definitely be sticking with him for future work

  Robert and his team did an amazing job ripping off our 30+ year old asphalt roof, repairing many years of damage to the house and our wraparound patio cover and installing skylights for us! The whole project was done in about a week and it only took that long because of the detailed repair work they did fixing some runoff sloping issues with our house. I could not recommend them more. Robert is extremely communicative and hands on from the quote discussion through the entire process and up to completion. My husband and I really valued his upfront communication, the price and that we worked wirh him (the owner) every step of the way.

  I had a roof leak and reached out to a few contractors for quotes. The others pushed more comprehensive (and expensive) solutions, RT Roofing came in with a much more affordable option addressing the problem area. They also replaced a few broken tiles elsewhere. They shared a photo of the repair, and the work looks solid.
