Please don't use them. Save yourself the headache and find a reputable company. This is the real reason yelp was created for people to share experiences good or bad so you could be saved from the bad. 6 years ago this nightmare company put a new roof on our 82 unit townhome association. 9 homes leaked when it rained shortly afterwards. The inside of our home was destroyed with estimates ranging from 6-8k. They played games, offering repairs that were leas than original quality, lied to our HOA about sending a check for $2420 and then refused to settle for 3k which was HALF our our lowest estimate and instead chose the "see you in court route". Clearly they were experts in leaving people holding the "repair money bag" knowing that it would cost us more in time and lawyer fees than to fix it ourselves. I really wish that was the end of our story.... Unfortunately, that is not the case.. here's what we woke up to today.... (See pics) The same leak.. so not only do they do bad work, screw you over financially but they didn't even do the due diligence to make sure the issue was remedied or check it periodically to insure against reoccurrence. Pretty disheartening to be honest. I grew up in a world where people took pride and stood by their work. Honesty and hard work and your last name had value. A world were a handshake and a persons WORD meant something. My ears are about deaf not sure how to get my wife through this AGAIN!!!

They did the roof at my building. The new roof was installed about 9 months ago. With the rain that just hit around Christmas, my roof was leaking. When I called my management company, they contacted this company to come out. It took 4 days for someone to schedule an inspection. It was 2 weeks ago since the rain stopped, and the repair was still not done. We were told these guys were the kings of flat roofs, but they are a complete joke. There are over 4 buildings in my HOA that are leaking. Next place I move to, I will ask if these guys did the roof, because then I will have to walk away from that.

Not sure where you live or what building or HOA you live in but this doesn’t seem to be the case. All calls are looked at within 48 hours if under warranty. Please let me know and I can review this to better serve you. 714-993-9715.

Roofing Standards performed a FiberTite overlay system at one of my projects in Pasadena. The owner met with me at the property and provided an education as we were reviewing the six buildings in this HOA community. Mike is very professional, helpful, and responds promptly to all communications and questions from the owners, the Board, and myself; the construction management consultant. The product we specified for this project allowed the HOA to avoid a complete tear off of the existing roofing material. This saved them hundreds of thousands of dollars and gave them the best product on the market for their community. Roofing Standards is a one stop shop for all roof related repairs and roofing installations. Give them a call and see why they are one of the best roofing companies we have been referring for close to 30 years. Don’t wait or waste you time calling other companies, call Mike today and get that roof water tight.

I called Roofing Standards this winter for a leak issue we were having with our roof, at our homeowners request. They got back to me within a couple days and apologized for the delay, due to the recent rains they were swamped. They got a crew out there just before the next rain storm and made a repair to the roof where the shingles meet the flat roof at the garage. We made it through the rest of the winter without incident. Thanks guys, appreciate the help!

My HOA of 105 condos selected Roofing standards out of all the competition to replace and/or repair our 37 year old roofs. About17 years ago, I was on the board of directors and we've been planning and setting aside monies into our reserves for this necessary, but expensive project all this time. I trust our current board vetted the company thoroughly before making their choice. My review is not based on their technical expertise, but about the fact that I've always said that "a business has no heart." Instead it is the people that run the business may or may not have a heart. Today I can attest to the fact that Roofing Standard's has one and it's beating hard and fast. At 8 am this morning, I was afflicted with a major migraine headache that would not respond to abortive medications. At 8:30, workmen began pounding away. Anyone familiar with migraines knows that total silence and darkness are required to avoid an Emergency Room visit at the nearest hospital. The roofing company had left a flyer taped to every resident's door with a contact number. After enduring the noise for an hour, I made a call to inquire how much longer I could expect the overhead work to continue. My contact person, Mark, advised that I could expect 3 to 4 hours of work overhead. When I asked if another cluster of condos could be worked upon due to my migraine, Mark patiently explained that doing so would create significant difficulty to their schedule. He offered to have them speed up the work and do what he could to help me. Ten minutes later, all work ceased and I was able to take a 4 hour nap and awaken migraine free! Roofing Standards and their representative, Mark, demonstrated to me that they were willing to give up their work and cost efficiencies to show compassion to a suffering senior citizen. In my humble opinion, Roofing Standards showed integrity and a caring heart today!

From tear off through completion, the project moved as scheduled, if not quicker. All the workers were friendly, professional, and made sure they left the site extremely clean. I would recommend Roofing Standards twice over.
