I would not recommend for installation of sky lights. I had them install 2 in 2020 and immediately had problems that were corrected by another company. Now have to replace both 6 years later due to being poorly installed initially.

What I recall about this job back in 2020, was that this roof was a very low slope roof on tri-level home that traditionally has a low pitched shingled roof, which is more prone to ice dams. I took the call after the 2026 winter storms that her skylight leaked after the huge snowstorm and said her skylight leaked. I asked her if she removed the snow from the roof and was told that she did. But how effectively, we don't know. Was it cleared immediately or many days after the storm. We take pride on our work and would've taken care of the issues immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Roofers Edge took full advantage of mine luck of knowledge. Did a horrible job and lied about everything. Not once did they tell me the truth. I hope that carma will go their way. It impacted my family for years and years

This is an odd review. If we just did the job recently, why didn’t you call us back up to let us know there were issues. We take customer service very seriously. With that being said, did we just did the job, how do you know that it would impact your family for years? If this was a job we had done years ago, why are we just now getting this review? Like I said we take customer service seriously so we obviously would’ve addressed any concerns you may have had. We’ve been in business for over 40 years, I get we can’t make everyone happy with their roofing job, but we strive to do the best we can. I apologize for any inconvenience but please call us so we can see what concerns you may have and if we can help to make this right.

Kevin Blakeman of Roofers Edge and his team did our roof here in South Natick 4 years for about 18K. They left alot of shingles, nails and debris next to our house and never returned our calls to clean it up. Our neighbors had a similar …

Hello Ernst, I believe you may be confused with the actual situation. The solar company you called, recommended that you needed more support to install the solar system on a 24 foot span with 16 inches on center rafters. This recommendation had nothing to do with the plywood that was underneath the roof. Roofers Edge sent out a professional subcontractor that works for a national solar company to inspect the situation and confirmed that the plywood was not damaged which had nothing to do with the roof installation. I think you were confused as to whether or not there was rot in the plywood verses the actual structure. According to the Solar company, your roof was not structurally sound to support the solar system. In order to get your roof to be more structurally sound to install the solar system, you would have to remove the plywood and the shingles to support the solar panels. One area of your home has a shedd roof that has no peak and no ridge vent can be installed, that is the area where your not getting proper ventilation. This was recommended to get more ventilation. The rest of your house had ridge vents. We spoke with you twice about the debris and nails around the house. At that time, I sent someone back to cleanup and remove the nails. Some of the nails were left underneath the dumpster which usually gets cleaned by the dumpster company. I informed your wife that it was all taken care of and her response was OK. I apologize for the profound language as we take great pride in our work and were confused as to why our work was being questioned. It was not directed towards the homeowners at all. This additional work was necessary based on the solar companies recommendation so the roof wouldn't collapse under the weight of the solar system.

Dear Botang, We understand that you did your due diligence and interviewed several contractors and choose our company as being the best fit for your project. I met with you and your wife and went over all the details with you. I understood that you were the new owner of the home and I told you that we had a full time foreman on the job to work with the crew and that I would be in touch with him regularly, which I was. I spoke with the crew 4 or 5 times in the one day period in which we did your house. It was a simple roof to do and an easy installation. We installed a quality roof on your home and you couldn't see the difference in the synthetic underlayment because the materials we used were the same shade. We also noticed that your chimney had cracked brick, missing mortar and cracked crown. We went out three times to look at your chimney and we applied mortar caulk to the chimney for a temporary fix. We also explained the issues we saw with the chimney and you refused to acknowledge that it was a chimney problem and not a flashing problem. I went into the attic myself after you told me you had a leak and recommended you hire a mason. I answered all your calls on weekends and all hours of the night even as late as 10 p.m. I was always on call and available to address your concerns either by phone or text. As far as the permit, we pulled a building permit for your home and the town had your address wrong. They had your house listed on the P. South and not the P. North. I called the town and spoke with them directly to have them change it back and rectify the confusion. If you need verification, please call the town. I'm sorry you had a different view of the experience. We can agree to disagree. We take our customer service very seriously and it is one of the reasons why we've been in the business for over 35 years.

Dear Renee, We apologize for not getting the quote out to you. I came to the property to meet with you and your husband to assess the project. I then came back a second time to measure the home and prepare a quote. I needed to coordinate with my various crews to get them to your property in a timely fashion. They all do the different types of services we do. Most of them are working on job sites during the day during the week and it was hard to get them to see your house after hours or on weekends. As far as the permits go, We file several hundred permits a year and it is listed on the contracts. Like anything, all reviews are subject to interpretation. I'm sorry I didn't respond to you in a timely manner and I should've have followed up with you sooner about the project. I'm sorry it didn't work out.

I met with Kevin the owner who was eager and came out to meet me on a Saturday. We emailed back and forth initially, but then I never heard back from him. I left several messages and emails and then tried calling his partner, who told me he would follow up with him. Once again Kevin got in touch with me making all the same promises and then once again I never heard back from them.

Roofers Edge & Siding was hired to install a new roof on your home after your due diligence. We installed a quality roof in a professional manner. The roof came out perfect and the guys worked late that evening to finish the job. If there were any nails left on the property we should've have been made aware. We do use two different kinds of nail magnets. You should've called us so that we could have picked up those nails the next day. We do a lot of roofs each year and we usually have no issues with nails. The dumpster company that we used did hit your railing with the dumpster and damaged it. We tried to locate a railing company to fix the railing but no one wanted to work on such a small job. We needed to fix the railing prior to fixing the concrete. We finally found a company that would come out and fix it. Then we hired a masonry contractor to fix the stairs but that too was hard to find because of the size of the job. We finally found one to rectify the situation in which we paid for both. We were never made aware of any dings on the siding or gutters of the house. If we were made aware, we would've taken care of the issues no problem. You did call in 5 or 6 times and we told you that we were having a hard time finding someone to come out and fix the other issues. At the end of the day, you received a high quality roofing job and we worked diligently to find someone to fix the railing and the stairs. It just took longer than anticipated. We apologize for your inconvenience. Kevin Blakeman President

Just had our large ranch stripped & new asphalt & rubber (porch in rear) installed. Kevin was “Johnny on the spot” returning calls and quickly let us know our permit was in hand. They promptly started the next morning. His crew was excellent! No damage, thorough and cleaned up any debris. Our neighbors have been commenting that n great our roof looks. Thanks Kevin & crew. You’ll gladly get my referrals.
