  My family experienced some roof damage during Hurricane Helene this last year. Shaun with River Construction swooped in like a super hero with claims of being able to do all the work we would need along with being the middle man between the insurance company and us. As new home owners and new parents this was exactly what we wanted to hear. We could focus on our family and trying to get back to normal post hurricane. However, after River Construction tarped our roof, our problems began. Over the period of 8 weeks, I was only ever able to get ahold of someone at RC 3 times. Each of those was initiated by me, I was never contacted and given an update by them. When I did call them, they told me insurance was dragging their feet which sounded very believable so I went with it. I would then go weeks without an update, call again and get the same story. Finally, we contacted insurance ourselves and were told by them that they had not heard from Shaun or anyone at River Construction in nine weeks and they were currently waiting on proof of the work that needed done. Between the 2nd and 3rd update, I became unable to get ahold of Shaun or anyone at RC. I tried calling and texting the number on the invoice they gave me for tarping my roof. No answer and straight to voicemail. No return calls or return texts. Finally I try finding another number for them. I finally find one using Shaun’s name. I call and immediately he answers. I try to explain my case and he keeps acting like he is the victim in this matter. My roof is falling apart, I can’t get ahold of my contractor I am worried since we have “started” with them another roofing company won’t want to work with us but Shaun is the victim in all of this. I don’t believe they are doing this maliciously but that can almost be just as dangerous, it seems like they have taken on more work then they can handle and they don’t communicate anything. I would steer very clear of this company or use at your own risk

  Had a very complex job and they hit it head on. They dealt with my insurance to get me the best possible outcome and dealt with me as a nervous homeowner to ease my mind. Roof replacements are never fun, but they make it happen!

  From the initial consultation, all through the work, and even the follow up, Shaun and crew were great to work with. They were fast, professional and always courteous. My new roof looks great! I don’t hesitate to recommend Rivers Construction to anyone.

  Was professional in every way. Sales, and service. Walked us through every step of removal and replacement of roof and rotten boards. Upgraded roofing with solid description of new style shingles and underlayment. His employees were caring and professional with removal, installation, and clean up.

  I was so impressed by River Construction replacement of the roof of my home. Shaun and his crew were so impressive with their workmanship and professionalism. From the initial consultation with Shaun and viewing the crew’s ability to tackle a big job, I knew I was in good hands as they worked around my large hedges and close proximity of the in-ground swimming pool. They worked diligently and with great care, ensuring everything was done to perfection.. Communication was both personable and detailed from start to finish. Shaun provided great leadership throughout the process, and left my home spotless and nail free with use of metal detectors around the complete perimeter surrounding my house. I recommend Shaun and his crew for anyone looking to get a quality roofing service and experience. They easily achieved 5 stars !
