  I hired RCB Roofing through Lowes. My neighbor did the same thing and he bragged what a great job they did so I wanted the same. I spoke to Michael Steele for a quote. I am a widow and didn't know what to expect. I got a quote for 12,000. My sq footage is approximately 1100. Afterwards I feel I was taken advantage of. Also afterwords I noticed nails all through my front porch and my carport and even Lowes denied any responsibility of anything. I never got a receipt which I have been requesting for years. I've been trying to contact them without any response and tried to contact Michael as well. I texted him with no reply. I am an unhappy camper, Dixie Lee

  We recently used Lowe’s for a full roof and gutter replacement through their contractor partner, RCB Roofing. Unfortunately, the experience was far below what we expected from a company associated with Lowe’s. At the beginning of March, I requested a quote through Lowe’s for a roof and gutter replacement. A few days later, Roger from RCB Roofing contacted me for details, but after that I never heard back. After waiting a week, I called their office and was told Roger would contact me. Three more weeks passed with no communication. I finally had to go into my local Lowe’s Pro Services department in person to get someone involved before we could even move forward. Once communication finally started, we received a quote and ultimately chose RCB Roofing over three competing estimates because we trusted Lowe’s and expected a higher level of service and accountability. Shortly after signing the contract, we were informed that they could not provide gutters matching the trim color of our home and would not paint them. This meant we had to hire our own painter at an additional cost of roughly $1,500 on top of an already $27,000 roof and gutter project. For a gutter project costing nearly $7,000 alone, this was disappointing. To their credit, the roof installation itself was completed in one day and the workmanship appears solid. I have no major complaints about the roof installation. The gutter installation experience, however, was frustrating. The crew arrived around noon and worked until approximately 9 PM while my family, including three children under 5 years old, was home. They still did not finish and had to return the next day. The biggest issue came after installation. The signed scope of work clearly states that “Leaf Blaster Pro micromesh gutter guards” were to be installed on all newly installed gutters, and the estimate packet even included multiple pages marketing the gutter guard product.   Dillon, We do apologize for any confusion that the leaf blaster material being named caused, but as you indicated there was never any communication with Roger about any gutter guards. In addition every other line item had a quantity listed while the leaf blaster line item had none (indicating that 0 linear ft. would be installed). Again we understand that this may have caused confusion which is why we were willing to give you a gutter guard system at almost a 70% discount. We still consider this to be a very fair offer and it will stand if you change your mind and decide to move forward. We don't want any of our customers to walk away unhappy and are willing to do anything within reason to make this right. John Daly

  This was, by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had with a home installation. Back in June 2024, I contacted RCB Roofing through Lowe’s to complete work on my back roof. Initially, I was told that the materials were custom-made and would require time to create and ship. However, each month, I had to be the one to contact RCB—multiple times—only to receive vague responses from the receptionist, who claimed someone would contact me immediately. No one ever did. Finally, in November, Lowe’s reached out to ask if I approved of my installation—an installation that hadn’t even been started. It seemed as though Lowe’s had no idea my project had been stalled for several months. Following that call, RCB finally contacted me to offer a $250 gift card for the inconvenience and informed me that their Atlanta team was available to complete the work. For the record, I never received that gift card, and the Atlanta team claim turned out to be a blatant lie. Instead, I received a call at 6 PM one evening from a local third-party subcontractor—while it was already dark outside—informing me they were at my gate and that RCB had sent them. As a single woman living alone, I was alarmed to find out that my phone number and address had been shared with people I didn’t know without my knowledge. Fortunately, the subcontractor was able to complete the work, unlike the so-called Atlanta team that Mark from RCB falsely promised. When the project was finally completed, the subcontractor left me with unused and old materials still sitting in my driveway. When I contacted the subcontractor to ask who would pick them up, they said the project manager from RCB would handle it. I have since reached out, but I’ve yet to receive any response.Also, when I spoke with an outside contractor waiting for a response from RCB, I was informed that the materials were not special order and very common and quick to receive.   It was a wonderful experience working with Jerry Antram and the entire RCB Roofing Team, an Independent Contractor for Lowe's. I have already recommended them to neighbors. The clean up was better than I expected and anytime I had questions, they were quick to respond. Great job!
