Do not recommend...they took there time, materials sat on my roof for 3 weeks, they sent 1 guy Chris to do the job throughout the rainy season, he took 3 weeks to finish, worked into the dark banging away up there, not a nice sound to come home to after working all day, his bin blocked my driveway, I had limited access to my house, he left a mess, nails all over my driveway that I had to pickup, he did a sloppy job, and not once did the owner come to check on the workmanship that he is suppose to stand behind, they had to send another worker to repair deficiencies after I had the roof checked out by someone else. I can only hope there will be no leaks in the next 10 years of their warranty, I should have done better research while looking for a roofing company.

It was time to re-shingle our aged moss covered roof. We had received a couple roofing quotes late last year, so this March my wife and I went to the Nanaimo Spring Home Show where we met Mandi of PW McCallum Roofing, she looked at the photos we brought and made some very accurate assessments based on the photos. Within a few days Paul McCallum visited our home and prepared a competitive quote that would not only replace the shingles, but would also improve our roof. We have a post and beam house with no attic and one steep sloped section. The improvement was to slightly raise the roof with venting added to allow air flow between the insulation and the roof. We have noticed our home was cooler during the recent hot days and the roof will also be less hospitable to the carpenter ants that had tunnelled into the old roof insulation. The project was started earlier than anticipated and was finished in a very timely manner. The team of Garry, Nick, and Nathan worked hard with framing, adding insulation, replacing the plywood, and of course the re-shingling. They were a pleasure to have working for us on this project as they were professional, focused, and cheerful. I strongly advise anyone in need of a new roof to contact McCallum Roofing for a quote. I met Cody at the Home Show at Pearkes Arena in March. Right away, he came across as very knowledgeable, down to earth and very approachable. I requested a quote and it turned out to be the best price. I signed the contract and away we went. The most pleasant part of this was the job that Nick and Garry did. They are specialists in metal roofing. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was evident during the entire process. It was a pleasure to watch them work. The clean up of the driveway and yard was well done. The only evidence now of their presence is a very good looking roof. It was a pleasure doing business with these folks and I highly recommend them for your next Roofing project

I am so happy we chose PW McCallum roofing to reroof our home. They went the extra mile to correct the previous improper roof instillation. The job was done in a timely fashion despite the rain. The roofers doing the job were respectful & communicated when they would be returning & their next plan of action. Job well done, thanks McCallum roofing. Made an emergency Call to McCallum, after we discovered a leak in the attic. The response was very quick. They were there to inspect, and repair the issue (leaking chimney case), on the same day. Everyone acted in a truly professional manner. Special Thanks, to Mandi, Sam, and Paul, for all your help!.

We live on Salt Spring Island and they showed up early, worked late, and speedily replaced our steep, moss covered roof. They had a great attitude and did a beautiful job and even came in under budget. Would highly recommend.
