The first three are Google’s own figures for Preferred Roofing, read on 24 September 2026; the share is of every rating Google has counted, not of the review texts on this page. The median is ours — the middle figure among the California roofers we list with enough ratings to compare.

Too few ratings to compare against other roofers — at 7 ratings a single unhappy customer moves this figure by several points.
The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for Preferred Roofing. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.
Other reviews we hold
5 more of the 5 reviews we hold text for, most recent first. We do not hold every review Google has.

We hired Jim Robertson and his crew at Preferred Roofing to install a new roof on our house and garage. Jim was easy to work with - he answered all of our questions and kept us informed of their progress. The crew showed up on time every day, they worked hard throughout the day and cleaned up after themselves before leaving each day. We are very pleased with the finished product and would definitely recommend Preferred Roofing for your roofing needs.

I love this company and the workers. They were quick, finishing on time. They were neat and pleasant to speak with. End result I have a fantastic roof. Thank you Jim and Christine.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 7 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 7, of which 5 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Preferred Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
