Much higher than most — the typical roofer in Illinois sits at 1.7%. A higher share is a reason to read the critical reviews below, not a verdict.
The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for Preferred Roofing Co. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.
Other reviews we hold
8 more of the 8 reviews we hold text for, most recent first. We do not hold every review Google has.

I had a great experience from start to finish. They were professional, dependable, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. The crew showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job. They were also very respectful of the property and made sure everything was cleaned up when they were finished. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and I really appreciated the communication and attention to detail. It’s hard to find a company that is both reliable and takes pride in their work, but they definitely do. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing roofing work.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 16 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 8, of which 8 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
