Preferred Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for Preferred Roofing.

I wanted to share that my experience with Thomas has unfortunately not been positive. The first week of July he told me he would be doing a full inspection for my repair, but despite my following up every couple of weeks, he has yet to come by or provide any clear timeline. It’s disappointing to feel like potential new customers aren’t being treated as a priority.

These people are high integrity people. My mom was approached by a separate roofing company that threw out scare tactics prompting her to almost sign up for a new roof that they were going to charge 3x the cost for. Luckily I called Preferred Roofing and they gave a second opinion and reassured her that nothing needed to be done and gave her honest feedback on everything. It saved my mom thousands and thousands of dollars. Their goal wasn’t to do the job for less but to give an honest assessment which ultimately led to no work being completed and my mom saving so much money. These guys chose honesty over greed, the exact opposite of the other company. Use Preferred Roofing. They are honest and have integrity unlike so many in the industry.

Thomas, thank you for taking the time to share this—I'm really glad we could give your mom a clear second opinion and help her avoid being pressured into work she didn’t need. We always aim to be straightforward and honest, even when that means no job for us, and it means a lot that you noticed.

Thomas and his team impressed me not for the work (as I am certain it’s too notch from seeing the neighbor’s house completed) but how they inspected my roof and said I DIDN’T need a new roof! Very honest!

They did a fantastic job on my commercial property in Atmore Al. They left everything clean and picked up all materials on outside of building. The business was able to stay open and they finished the roof in timely manner. I would definitely refer them for any roof repair. Mr. Cole was great to work with and was prompt to return my calls.
