  Precision roofing shingled my roof and carport. The estimate was almost double from the other quotes I got but I figured I would get a quality job which I didn't get. The roof began to leak between the carport and the house within the first year. Now shingles are falling off the roof of the house because they were never nailed down to begin with. When I went up on the roof to replace shingles that had fallen off the roof I discovered that there was no tar/felt paper under the shingles. The roof was done several years ago BUT with the high cost of replacement that I paid and if the job was done right in the first place, the lifespan of the roof should be a lot longer than just a few years. I have called in to have these issues corrected and was told "the weather has been bad this season" ie. windy, lots of snow or ice and it happens. BEWARE of this company you do not always get what you pay for! UPDATE ! As per your response below, yes you did install ice and water shield on the first three feet BUT above that level there is no felt or barrier between the shingles and the wood.As for the shingles that have fallen off the roof they were wedged in tightly as they would be with the existing shingle pattern therefore would not fall off on day one but with time and weather came off,and when examined had no nail holes in the shingle material.UPDATE: Shingles failed prematurely, water entered house! Had roof re shingled by a more reputable roofer.New roofing company told me they have repaired roofs that have been previously shingled by this company.

  Dear Mr. Ezard, I am sorry to read that you are dissatisfied with our Company. I have taken the liberty to post below exactly what we did with your roof that was done November 7 2006. We did not put felt paper under your shingles, we used ice and watershield and your shingles would not have lasted one day if they were not nailed. I must apologize, I do not recall you calling, I am sure you did, but, you have never called again. Remove existing One (1) layer of shingles and replace with new Twenty five (25) year shingles- Existing colour= Dual Brown Supply & Install Six (6) new roof vents Supply & Install One (1) new plumbers flashing Supply & Install Twenty (20) feet of pre painted metal valley Supply & Install One hundred & twenty (120) feet of metal drip edge around perimeter of roof Supply & Install Three (3) feet of Ice & Water shield around perimeter of roof Supply & Install new 1/2" Plywood and one new rafter on carport- Ice and watershield and shingle New shingle = Charcoal Grey

  We can’t say enough wonderful things about Precision Roofing. Knowledgeable Owners and a hardworking crew made for a great experience getting our roof completed. cleanup was superb and the price was very reasonable. Would recommend to everyone we know.

  Best roofers in town by far, such nice young men and damn do they work hard, you know if you want the job done right hire Dave and his crew they are the best by far, so very efficient, these young men never left even a hint they were here …

  Excellent roofing company. I had Precision roofing do my Keswick home and some repairs at my cottage. Both jobs were done well and efficiently. The crew was respectful and easy to have around the house over the couple days they were there. If you want a roof done right by a good crew choose Precision. Thanks again!

  Amazing company.... second time they have down my roof in 15 years just got it done last month and my house looks the best on the street, boss man and crew was very respectful, cleaned up property really well and took really good care of my expensive garden.... good job boys
