  My property in Hyde Park, Boston, MA needs a new roof. I called the company on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 3:20 pm. Nobody answered the phone. I left a voicemail message. No response. In terms of customer service, I would give a zero star. I do not know about its craftsmanship, since it shows no interest in my property in Hyde Park.

  I’ve used Alex and team for a couple projects in the last few years. They put a new roof on my house as well as custom sheet metal flashing and trim on my sunroom. Both projects exceeded my expectations in terms of the attention to detail and quality. Would definitely recommend.

  I had Portanova Roofing company replace my roof five years ago and was very happy with their work. So when my addition needed a new roof, I called them again and was not disappointed. They completed the job in one day despite a few rain showers and left the yard spotless when they left. I would highly recommend them.

  Portanova Roofing did a great job on my roof. I requested a quote from 5 different roofing companies, Portanova was the only one who responded. Jim came out and got on my roof and inspected it. He gave me a fair quote and within a week and a half, his crew showed up and went to work. They were done in about 6-7 hours. The left my pace immaculate. I highly recommend Portanova roofing.

  If you need a new roof, then I wholeheartedly recommend Portanova Roofing. Mike and his crew from Portanova Roofing came promptly at the scheduled time and did an amazing job at our home! They stripped off two layers of old asphalt shingles, replaced some boards in the roof that had been damaged when a tree fell on our house a few years ago, installed underlayment, and installed a new roof of architectural asphalt shingles in one day. They re-flashed the chimney with lead flashing. They installed the new roof without damaging bushes or flower gardens around the house, and they cleaned up the debris from the old roofing shingles and placed them in a dumpster. They carefully placed plywood under the dumpster so that the weight of the loaded dumpster did not damage our driveway. One of the Portanova workers had a powerful magnet while walking around our property and picked up every nail from our old roof that had fallen in our yard or onto our driveway. Some falling shingles did damage one of our window screens, but Mike took the screen and returned with the repaired screen two days later without any additional charge. There have been some hard rains in the past month, and our new Portanova roof has been perfect without any leaks.

  We would absolutely recommend Portonova Roofing for your roof repair or replacement. Every step of the process was handled with flawless attention to detail, professionalism, and pride in quality. Jim, the person who estimated and quoted our job, was a delight to deal with, and he gave us a very reasonable quote in just a day or two. He was knowledgeable, friendly, always answered the phone, and was very flexible. We needed the flexibility because we had to get solar panels removed, and dealing with our solar vendor is no picnic. Jim's integrity was obvious at every step. Then, Matthew, the onsite manager for the job executed a flawless job. Matthew and his crackerjack team replaced the roof, replaced 2 skylights and added gutters. This team worked hard and smart. They arrived at 7 a.m. and didn't leave until the whole job, including a spotless cleanup, was done after 6:30 pm. Well done! Many thanks...

  Portanova replaced our roof and skylight this week. Mike and crew are amazing - the mess from old roofing material was significant and the next day you wouldn't have known it had even been there. The skylight was reasonably priced and perfectly installed. Vellux with solar powered shade is amazing. The crew worked long hours, with superb efficiency. Would recommend Portanova all day!
