Platinum Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for Platinum Roofing.

Started off pretty well, but was not a good experience and would not recommend this company to anyone. The only pleasant part of the experience was the friendly nature of the sales representative, Aaron. We contracted with Platinum Roofing to replace the metal roof on our home, as well as the metal roof on a small barn in one of the pastures. The barn roof went up very quickly, but the roof on the house took quite a bit longer than promised. When they started on the house roof we thought the job would be completed quickly since they had many employees on-site, but after a couple days the number of employees on-site dropped to just a few and the project went 4 weeks. During that time, the workers broke a propane line away from the house at the back deck and they destroyed a water line on the east side of the house, requiring me to only complete a temporary fix until they were done with the project. The crew did a pretty good job cleaning up debris (nails, screws, small/sharp pieces of metal roofing material....) over the first couple days, but the cleanup really lacked afterwards. I regularly had to go around the house each evening, picking up quite a bit of the debris so we didn't have issues with damaged tires. I was able to fill nearly half a 5 gallon bucket with nails, screws, and small metal clippings. The new metal replacement panels have blue, plastic protective strips that were peeled off prior to the panel placement, and we collected quite a bit of these that were scattered around the house after the workers left. We have a couple calves in a pasture area towards the back of the house and on two occasions I needed to run out to pull some of the plastic pieces from their mouths as they were attempting to eat it. One piece, which was chewed pretty well by the calf was approximately 4 - 6 inches down one of the calves throat. We believe the workers were drinking beer during their breaks during the day. During most of their lunch breaks, they would

I love my new roof! My house looks brand new! The team who put my roof on worked in the 98 degree heat but was able to finish in a day! They cleaned up the old shingles and left my yard just as it was before they started. I was indecisive about the color of my shingles but Addison Cody was so patient with me and was able to show me houses that had colors I liked most. This really helped me decide what would look best for my home. Thank you Platinum Roofing!

This was such a great roofing company and I’m so glad that I decided to go with them. Tuzer was so helpful with explaining everything that would be done to replace my roof as well as helping me pick out the shingles that would look best on my home. The employees were efficient and got my roof replaced very fast. 10/10 work!

Jamey was super easy to deal with and their quoting was very fair. Loved that they had 3 different tiers of shingle systems to choose from and that they had serious built in warranties. They were able to get out here in less than a month's time as well which was very much appreciated. The onsite management team was prompt and communicative. Really enjoyed working with this team. Highly recommend using them on your next roof!
