I've lived in my house in Fort Lee for thirty years and this was my first full roofreplacement. The experience was less disruptive than Ianticipated. The crew started early and by the end of the firstday the old roof was off and the new …

My tenant called me on a Thursday to say there was a leak above the second-floorbathroom. By Friday someone was on the roof. By Monday the repair was done and the tenantconfirmed it had rained overnight with no sign ofa problem. Quick turnaround matters when you're renting tosomeone who's counting on a dry apartment

The winter we had back-to-back nor'easters was the year I finally understood what icedamming actually does. The water backed up behind the ice at the eaves, got under the shingles, soaked the decking, andcame through the ceiling directly …

I have a two-story commercial building in Bergen County with mixed roofing - flat in the rear, sloped over the front entry. The transition between the two sections had been leaking for years. Previous contractors had patched it but the …

My house in Teaneck has a complicated roof with multiple intersecting slopes, a dormer, a chimney, and two skylights. Every penetration is a potential failure point. When I started getting intermittent leaks I knew it was going to take someone methodical to actually trace them. They did a water test - running a hose across specific sections - and identified two separate problems in two different locations

After my insurance company denied my claim saying the damage was from wear and notstorm-related, I asked for a second opinion. Paramount Roofing wrote a detailed rebuttal letterdocumenting evidence of impact damage on theshingles, flashing, and gutters that wasinconsistent with normal aging. The claim was ultimately approved

We found out at closing that the previous owners had installed new shingles over anexisting layer without ever replacing the decking. It looked fine from the outside but the inspectorflagged it. Paramount Roofing stripped everything back to therafters and found the decking in reasonable shape, which was a relief given what we'd imagined

As someone who manages about twenty residential units in Bergen County, I’ve learned to stay on top of roofing inspections rather than react to problems. Having Paramount Roofing come out every couple of years, document conditions, and identify things before they become leaks saves me money in the long run.

My neighbor in Fort Lee mentioned she’d used Paramount Roofing and that her insurance claim process went smoothly. I was dealing with hail damage from the same storm that hit her, so I called. The inspection was thorough — they went into the attic to check for decking damage too, not just the surface.

We experienced a significant leak above the master bedroom in our home in Teaneck. The ceiling buckled and the drywall had to come down afterward. The roofing portion — clearing ice buildup, replacing damaged shingles, adding ice-and-water shield in the valley — was done quickly. The interior work I handled separately.

Our roof was original to the house, which was built in 1987. We knew it was coming but kept delaying. After getting the estimate from Paramount Roofing and seeing everything broken out — tear-off, disposal, new decking where needed, …

Installed a new energy-efficient skylight to bring natural light into the home while improving ventilation and aesthetics. The project included precise roof cutting, framing modifications, installation of weatherproof flashing, sealing, and finishing to ensure a watertight fit. The new skylight enhances the interior space with increased daylight, improved energy efficiency, and long-lasting protection against the elements.Jun 6, 2026
