I am very disappointed with my experience and feel compelled to share it so other homeowners can make an informed decision. I was quoted $15,000 to reset my existing roof tiles. During the project, I was then presented with approximately $9,000 in additional charges, allegedly for termite-related damage. Although the additional amount was eventually reduced to $6,000, that still represents a 40% increase over the original quote. What makes this even more concerning is that two of my neighbors had their roofs done at approximately the same time, and neither of them had additional charges added to their original estimates or paid anything beyond their quoted prices. My concern is not that unexpected issues can arise—of course they can. My concern is the lack of transparency and communication regarding these substantial additional costs. I also found it very difficult to get timely responses. My advice to homeowners: proceed with caution and get everything in writing. Make sure the scope of work is clearly defined, require documentation of any unforeseen damage, and insist on written approval before any additional work or charges are incurred. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage homeowners to obtain multiple detailed estimates and make sure the final price and potential additional costs are clearly documented before hiring this company, from my experience, stay away from this company as there are a lot out there that defines their work with more clarity and transparency, I just moved to California and already scared.

Extremely expensive. Might as well roof your house with gold.

I can highly recommend Jay / Pacific Crest Roofing. During the storms near the end of’25 our concrete tile roof suddenly decided to start leaking. I had three contractors come out, two recommended full roof replacements. Jay was the only …

Our painter pointed out some issues with our roof that needed to be inspected by a roofer. After reading all the positive reviews online about PCR, we called to get a quote. Helio and Mark were sent out to inspect the roof. Rather than do a …

Pacific Crest (PCR) did a great job on our home! It started with us getting 5 or 6 quotes. PCR wasn't the cheapest, they were in the middle BUT they seemed the most competent. I'm happy I went with Jay and PCR. They were upfront with the timeframe and when theyd start, upfront with how long each step would take. We took a while to lock in a color and shingle but they weren't rushy and pointed us to other homes they had done as well as where they buy the shingles (so we could go see them all side by side). The crew worked fast and they cleaned up every day. They covered all of our plants and nothing with damaged. They knocked it out of the park! Thanks Jay!!!!

I'm very happy with their work. They were here when they said they would be, and got it done when they said they would. There was a lot more wood replacement than expected and they did not gouge me. I had multiple quotes and for the quality of work performed they were extremely reasonable. I highly recommend them.

I had 4 roofing companies come to my house for estimates and I went with Pacific Crest Roofing. The owner, Jay, was extremely professional, honest and thorough in his communication. I had one owner from another roofing company actually ask me if I wanted to bypass having him get a permit from the city to save time and money. Jay, on the other hand, made sure to not cut corners and he did things with a lot of attention to detail. He was able to start quickly after getting the permit. His workers were extremely professional and nice. Jay went above and beyond with a few things and made sure everything was going well each step of the process. For example, they covered my pool the first day to make sure no debris would accidentally go into the pool. On the second day it wasn't needed but some very small debris did get in the pool. He immediately called a pool company to come out and clean my entire pool. I did not ask him to do that but he did it out of his own concern. This is a great company to do with. In fact, I saw 3 different people driving or walking by taking pictures of my roof the last day it was completed because they were impressed. A few neighbors in the area also spoke to me about how nice it looked.

We had a great experience using crest roofing. Jay was very professional, and with excellent communication, and nice finished results. They fixed one of our rafter tails which had some termite damage and replaced some mortar on our roof tile end cap. Would recommend strongly!
