We used Overcash Roofing this spring for a new roof on our home. From start to finish, we were happy with the service we received. The owner helped us choose the color of the shingles, and the price was competitive. His work crew showed up early morning as promised, and cleaned up every trace of the roofing materials. Highly recommend this company!

Couldn’t be more pleased with the dedication this team put into our new roof. They silently showed up near dawn and had all my shrubs covered with tarps, had all their tools neatly lined up on the ground, and had ladders set up ready to get started. They rang the doorbell to see if I wanted to move any vehicles out of our garage. Once I did they went straight to work stripping off my old roof. They stayed on it all day. I had a couple of minor leaks that I knew beforehand that needed attention. They promptly cut out the damaged spots and replaced with good wood. After nearly 15 hours I had a professionally installed roof and a clean yard, porches and driveway. Thanks again Gene

Gene is also a good Samaritan. I was riding my bicycle on a training ride to the end of Bringle Ferry Road. As I started home, I ran over something that punctured a tire. Of course, this was the farthest distance from home and a low traffic road. I started flagging drivers for help and all passed by. A little bit later one of the drivers returned and asked if I needed help. I explained the problem and I needed a ride to Carolina Blvd in Salisbury. Gene said he would take me there and helped put my bicycle in his truck. He said he was heading back to the office after giving a quote on a roofing job. Lucky me on the timing and place. We had a pleasant conversation about our hobbies and training on the way to my house. Gene lives is Granite Quary which is before Salisbury. He went out of his way, the extra mile doing a good deed. Thank you, Gene Overcash, for being a good Samaritan. I have your card on my refrigerator above my bike reminding me of your good deed every time I ride the bike. Jerry Shelby
