Terrible job done. When came back to fixed exposed nails looks like a kindergarten student was finger painting. Flashing work is just terrible. Would not recommend going with them. Going to have to re do a lot of the house because of this. Response from them was a lie was allowed back on property but would not fix all issue that were brought to there attention. After there head estimator from winnipeg came down and said everything was up to par which wasn't even close and called me a lier I did kick them off my property for a short period of time to cool down after this conversation. They were allowed back on and repairs that they did do still weren't up to standard. So how many opportunities can someone be given. Id like to add to my review after 3 years this is the 8th shingle that's fallen off that I've had to repair. I recommend no one go with them if you want quality work and your roof to last.
Reply from the business
Admittedly this isn’t up to Oakwood standards but it was installed the way you wanted. We were very disappointed in the person who did the work and we wanted to repair to our standards however you would not allow us back on the project.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 3 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 3, of which 1 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Oakwood Roofing & Sheet Metal Co Ltd (Kenora). A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
